“And that vicious movement was designed to delegitimize President Barack Obama.”
Not being a corpratist in the US makes you an extremist.
The longer the 2016 presidential nomination campaign goes, the better and better that Barack Obama looks like as the president. (And that's the truth.)![]()
He's not an extremist.
Ted Cruz is an extremist.
Sanders just wants America to quit trying to re-invent the wheel and get honest about how much it loves socialism, quit trying to dress it up as something else because they stick a contractor in there to scam the tax payer.
Sanders is no extremist. He wants to return the US to the status quo ante, circa the Lyndon Johnson administration. That would be a damn sight better than what we have now, but it's not good enough.
The thing that disturbs me most about Sanders is his puppy-dog reflex to defend the neo-con war criminal, Barack Obama.
Are you saying he wants us to get involved in Vietnam again?![]()
Compared to most people, he is an extremist.
Down but not out, Senator Bernie Sanders scored a big win in the Democrats Abroad global primary as the contest to become the party's candidate in November's presidential election heats up.
"We are waging a strong campaign and plan to take it all the way to the Democratic National Convention this summer," Sanders said after his win on Monday.
The party said 34,570 American citizens living abroad in 38 countries cast votes by internet, mail, and in person from March 1-8.
Socialism, Bernie Sanders style
Sanders received 69 percent of the vote to earn nine of the 13 delegates at stake. Hillary Clinton won 31 percent, picking up four delegates.
Clinton now has 1,163 delegates to Sanders' 844 based on primaries and caucuses.
In the US primary system, voters select delegates supporting their candidates in each state and then the delegates vote for the candidates in parties' national conventions.
When including superdelegates, or party leaders who can support any candidate, her lead is even bigger - 1,630 to Sanders' 870. It takes 2,383 delegates to win the nomination.
I still cant believe that Bernie didnt attend AIPAC? makes no sense....
Actually it kinda does.
He doesn't want to be seen as pandering to his religion or an Israeli puppet. That's good for his left base, they like to see that he can separate his religion from his job.
As far as any of the Christians here might be concerned he once again doesn't look like he's going to be bringing much of that Jewish nonsense into their evangelical bubble, that might make him a little more appealing to the middle should they be forced to chose between a socialist and a narcissistic psychopath.
Sanders is keepin' it fuckin' classy.![]()
Uh, he's is losing! Plus they now go into the Northwest, plently of Jewish folk there to vote. Obama got 80% of the Jewish vote, he should have been there. Big mistake...
Given that Jews make up less than two percent of the population one has to wonder why so much energy is spent courting them.
Simply stating that in raw numbers pulling 20% of the African American vote or 10% of the Latino Vote> 100% of the Jewish Vote.
A quick google tells me that like most minorities Jews vote Democrat. Obama getting a mere 69% vs Romney was the worst showing since Dukakis (67) and Mondale (64) with Carter's 1980 run being the only time Democrats haven't carried the Jewish vote since Cox in 1920. (And no, I have no clue who Cox is so go ahead and make fun of me.)

The main issue was entry into the League of Nations. Republican Senator Warren G. Harding called for a "return to normalcy," the country was tired of war (after less than two years of it, imagine what they'd say about the Iraq War back then), and the GOP won hands-down. The United States never did join the League of Nations.Governor James M. Cox of Ohio. His running mate was then Assistant Secretary of the Navy, you guessed it, Franklin D. I liked this one.
Why President Obama Is Supporting Hillary Clinton Over Bernie Sanders
It shows the "Liberal Limitations of Obama." He's not that committed to changing a system that worked out great for him.
I didn't realize that Obama was supporting Hillary much over anyone else.
