Bernie!

Oh cool. Cus I was trying to find an article that I would actually trust and couldn't find one. Also since primaries aren't caucuses there was some confusion there.

You know the nomination is fixed. There is no way Sanders cold get the nomination even if he won every state. Old Hilary has it wrapped up with her bribed and corrupt "super delegates".

I wonder why college students back Sanders, except for being foolish enough to believe he will really give them "free" education.

Bullshit. Hillary is running from strength because she's been running for the office, paying her party dues (which is where the super delegates come in), playing her husband card rather than publicly dumping him, and cultivating the grassroots for a decade. Sanders wasn't even a Democrat much before the primaries began.

The students as well as a lot of other groups in the electorate are easy pickings by a pied piper (in both parties).

In addition to biting on Sander's imaginary magic pill on a free education (among other promises), the students (and a lot more in the Republican grassroots) don't seem to realize that they benefit from Obama care and will be up the creek financially if/when it's jerked back.

The American electorate isn't real good at complex thought on their own self-interests.

1999 was only ten years ago? I suck at teh maths. :D

No the American electorate doesn't do well with long term anything but I'm less than certain that's a good reason for students to be against Obamacare. I mean that does require it getting pulled and that may not happen at all. And if you don't do anything because it might fail you're gonna have a lot more problems.

Well, Clinton is the only one running who is saying it won't be pulled--and either replaced with nothing or an attempt made to start all over from zero again on a fully socialist basis.

There are SO many not-so-bright folks trying to pull it down who are the beneficiaries of it. No skin off my nose, though; I'm doubly covered no matter what happens to Obamacare.

Bernie isn't a retard, he's not gonna pull it down BEFORE replacing it. At least I don't think he would but who knows.

I will cede you have a point in the assumption that Bernie repeals and fails to replace.

Yea it's partisan, that is all she has going for her and that's the problem. She's an establishment tool and a Wall St. Mouthpiece.

She's a fuckin' republican.

I don't think he promised free education....I'd like you to quote where he did.

And Obamacare isn't a benefit, it's a gigantic rip off scam and everyone with an IQ in the double digits sees it. Socialism is giving better care to more people for 1/3 the price.

(D) sold us out to the insurance/pharmaceutical companies, accept it, quit trying to sell it as something better because it's not you partisan tool.

The American electorate isn't real good at complex thought on their own self-interests.

Oh....explain to me how HRC and the DNC at large are in our own self interest....

This ought to be good :D

You mean start all over without insurance companies dick up our ass? OH NO NOT THAT!!!

God I can't wait for you cold war era regressives to fucking die off enough to un-do all the political/economic damage you morons have incurred with your irrational fear of anything other than a corporate oligarchy.

So, you think, after seeing how hard it was to get Obamacare through, that Bernie is going to be able to replace it with anything? Boy, you've been drinking the Kool-Aid.

It's just unbelievable the voodoo voters have done on themselves in the this election cycle.

No I don't think he'll be able to get anything through and I have to assume he's not stupid enough to repeal Obamacare knowing that in advance. I don't think he'll be able to get anything done and I hope he'll just keep bashing his head against the wall and then goes to the American people on the first of every month and says "Congress fucking sucks. Get me a better one."

It won't work but that would be the goal of a Bernie presidency.

It's not my job to make you pay attention to what's happening.

But, the most recent time he's said it was tonight in the Univision Democratic debate in Florida. Free through a public college degree. Look it up for yourself. If you want to be mealymouthed about it not including private universities or graduate school, you're being just that--mealymouthed.

Beyond that your post is your usual crazy crap.

So, do I have to do YOUR research for you too and show how many times he says he'd scrap Obamacare and start all over? Geez.

Bernie said that? My respect for him just increased. Obamacare is a great leap forward in the Wall Street Bailout. Every citizen is now required to purchase private insurance from rapacious companies that will do their level best to deny you access to any actual care.

Obamacare is a step away from a civilized European-style health system, not toward it.

Well, they both say they are going after the insurance companies (which are going to gouge you if they can whether or not we have Obamacare--at least with ACA there's a cudgel both Democrats say they will use on the insurance companies). Seems you have to go with Republicans if you don't want to even move toward solving that problem for the individual.

Obamacare sucks.

Yeah, I'm probably talking about you when I note that there are those who can only benefit from any move toward universal health care but is too dumb to realize that.

The ignorance about self-interest and the positions of the candidates in this election is just extraordinary this time around. It's like smart phones have fried everyone's brains.

No. I simply don't believe he'd actually do it. I know he's said it (though courtesy demands you make the claim you provide the proof) but I did not ask for a cite on this. I simply assume he's not an absolute moron.

He did not promise free through a public college degree. Talking about how you think things should be done isn't the same as promising things.

YOU made the claim, YOU have to back it up because that's how the real world works.

So quote his promises of free education or you're full of shit.

Beyond that your post is your usual crazy crap.

Typical (R)odham fan club response.

We are paying 2-3x as much as folks with UHC socialist HC and we still can't get everyone a basic check up and vaccinations....

Tell me again how Obamacare is better??

Yea that's what I thought :D keep slobbing that DNC/RNC 1%'er knob.

An Enraged Bernie Sanders Obliterates Trump For Blaming His Campaign For Violence

In response to Trump’s claim that his campaign incited violence against Trump supporters in Chicago, Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders obliterated the Republican frontrunner by exposing the truth behind the lies.

In a statement, Sanders said:

" As is the case virtually every day, Donald Trump is showing the American people that he is a pathological liar. Obviously, while I appreciate that we had supporters at Trump’s rally in Chicago, our campaign did not organize the protests.

What caused the protests at Trump’s rally is a candidate that has promoted hatred and division against Latinos, Muslims, women, and people with disabilities, and his birther attacks against the legitimacy of President Obama.

What caused the violence at Trump’s rally is a campaign whose words and actions have encouraged it on the part of his supporters . He recently said of a protester, ‘I want to punch him in the face.’ Another time Trump yearned for the old days when the protester would have been punched and “carried out on a stretcher.’ Then just a few days ago a female reporter apparently was assaulted by his campaign manager.

When that is what the Trump campaign is doing, we should not be surprised that there is a response.

What Donald Trump must do now is stop provoking violence and make it clear to his supporters that people who attend his rallies or protest should not be assaulted, should not be punched, should not be kicked. In America people have a right to attend a political rally without fear of physical harm."

Truck You Drumf!

When the BERN was felt in Minnesota, CNN exit polls showed that Sanders outperformed Clinton among voters who are "very worried" about the U.S. economy, 56% to 40%. Among voters who believe international trade takes away American jobs, Sanders also led Clinton, 56% to 43%.

Early exit polling is showing that the economy and bad trade deals are also heavily influencing the vote in MO, IL and OH. Does not mean they will feel the BERN as well but it is a nice early indication.

I think NC is a lost cause because Clinton and deep Red state.

Not sure about FL. Those fuckers are cra-cra.

Bernie did have some success, but he is getting his ass kicked something awful today.

Bernie Sanders denounced Donald Trump as a “pathological liar” who leads a “vicious movement” on Saturday, and reserved some vitriol for Rahm Emanuel’s “disastrous record” as mayor of Chicago, a day after the city was rattled by violent clashes between Trump supporters and protesters.

At a press conference in Chicago on Saturday morning, the Democratic candidate for president said the Republican frontrunner had stoked racial enmity for political gain.

“What the Trump campaign has been about is insulting Mexicans in a very crude way; it’s been about insulting African Americans,” he said.

“Let us not for one moment forget, and I think sometimes people do, that Donald Trump was at the forefront of the so-called ‘birther’ movement,” he continued, alluding to a conspiracy theory that Barack Obama was not born in the US. “And that vicious movement was designed to delegitimize President Barack Obama.”

In a statement later that day, he said: “As is the case virtually every day, Donald Trump is showing the American people that he is a pathological liar. Obviously, while I appreciate that we had supporters at Trump’s rally in Chicago, our campaign did not organize the protests.

Americans don't elect or nominate radicals and Bernie is really left. This isn't a shock to most of us. A dissapointment in our country? SURE. But a shock? Not really.

When I first heard about the Bern, I predicted he would get burned. Extremists of either party do not get elected, although they do sometimes get nominated

He's not an extremist.

Ted Cruz is an extremist.

Sanders just wants America to quit trying to re-invent the wheel and get honest about how much it loves socialism, quit trying to dress it up as something else because they stick a contractor in there to scam the tax payer.
