w00t at shini! It's fun to have a guy in class. We had 1 the first semester I did it, and his buds razzed him a bit. But then they wised up some. Lessee, sexy guy, all alone in a class of 30 sexy women being all sensual and er, stuff. The second semester, we had 4.
LOL
I need to loose the weight first

but my dad says the same thing about figure skating
untill his buddies came out to watch one day
him and one other guy
15 other cute girls
hands sliding everywhere
cold
and spandex suits

seems like fun to me

There's a girl I know at school who bellydances and she has the perfect figure and perhaps the greatest ass ever, so it's very intimidating to think about myself trying it when people like her have been doing it for years, look amazing while doing it, and pretty much would have any guy in the world be willing to be with her. Very intimidating indeed.

if they're that good at it they'll remeber when they weren't
same with any skill
once you get up to a certain level you remeber what it was like getting there and like to help people learn

you can tell alot of people by the way they act about their skills

Well...let's put it this way: she doesn't need the bellydancing.

I'm more intimidated by her physical perfection than her dancing ability, since I danced for 12 years. Granted, it wasn't bellydancing, but I imagine that I'd be able to pick it up relatively easily.

It is intimidating, and it took me years to get up the nerve to try. But I'm sorry I waited. You'd rock, CG.

I'd much rather a girl with some meat than one that works so hard for her appearnace
to me if you're happy with your size you dont need to do anything about it unless its a health risk

she probly has to keep working hard to keep that way and if she gained 10 lbs would freak out

but that just how I see things

OOh, and also remember that a woman of substance is lovely and attractive in the belly dancer world.

Well, if I lost 100 pounds, I'd definitely still have substance. Not sure if the belly dancer world would want all of my substance. =P

They might. A skinny minny professional dancer I know is worried cause she's too small for it.

Sweetie...You are beautiful. Your body is made for belly dancing...your curves are an asset in this particular instance and there is no other form of dance that will empower you more or make you feel more feminine.

Take a class...just one...you'll see. It's like magic. Suddenly you'll see just how sexy and erotic you are, right this minute. Not 50 or 100 pounds from now, but right now. I promise!

I agree, belly dancing is for now, then if you are to change later, you'll already be ahead.

Its fun too!
