Would I do it for profit/advantage with someone as a one-off? Never say never, I guess, but I've gone a long time without needing to.

I am 100% in favor of legalized prostitution.
The tax money the state would bring in would fund women's health clinics. The prostitutes could use the services to stay disease free and have other medical care. Under insured women would have better healthcare.

And the stigma and need of back alley deals would reduce so there could be a decreased number of crimes on prostitutes.

I worked 16 years in infectious diseases, mostly sexually transmitted.

Years ago I fucked a client of the company I work for, when my boss was a little surprised that they ended up with the contract again I put two and two together..... it definitely was never my intention, just the way it worked out..... but I did fuck him several times after that just to make sure it was locked in, lol

A whore performs a sex act for money or material gain. She may or may not be even particularly sexually active or experienced.

A slut engages in frequent sex with multiple partners beyond that which is generally deemed acceptable in society (obviously ill defined).

Not really. Whores do it for money. That doesn’t necessarily mean they are indiscriminate. It is more of a business proposition so maybe they are less focussed on their own pleasure or physical attraction. But they can still choose to discriminate based upon their own criteria - just like any business doesn’t have to accept every customer.

In general the idea of a sexual woman who will fuck anybody is a male construct. They don’t really exist. Some have low standards or bad judgment so they may be less discriminating than others think they should be, but that isn’t the same as being truly indiscriminate. As has often been said a slut is a woman with a man’s sensibilities regarding sex. Think of the biggest man whore you know - he might have low standards but he wouldn’t just fuck any woman no matter how vile or unattractive. The idea of women who are even dumber and less discriminating than that is silly - its a male construct used to diminish women who exercise our sexual prerogative and don’t fall into line.
