Thanks for the compliment though. To the OP, Dribble is probably giving you the best take on this whole thing. Truth? You're likely better off, and being able to really believe that you are, is a sign of positive mental health, and maturity.
Seeking self-improvement by learning from this experience is noble, but you put a lot of responsibility on the other party to play the teacher. Teachers are special people, and rare. If you felt things were going well, they probably were going well enough. Where this person went, or why, is not something to hang your worth on. Venting out a bit of frustration here I think is a better alternative. I got you bruh.
