being an ornament

I saw the thread on "being shared" and had a thought.

Has anyone ever been used as an ornament?
Not necessarily aon a tree, but more as decoration for a party, around house or such?

I have heard about CFNM but that is more for unwilling men.
While still being naked, this is more about being around. Not so much being in the conversations or about them.

I had in mind, more of a play-thing while the women would talk; or even just something to ignore.

I occasionally use my fem-sub as an ornament. I like to restrain her with an unusual tie and place her on the centre of the dining or coffee table when we're having guests. I also occasionally tie her upright and make her hold (one way or another) candles; gives a lovely atmosphere to an intimate evening. I usually write a little sign on her if we're having new guests to the effect that they can touch her at will.

She finds this deliciously degrading and I can't see why similar couldn't be done with a male sub.

I'm just curious, do you write directly on her, or do you write on a card and hang it? I've been used as a blackboard/paper before, when Daddy was explaining math theories to my girlfriend, who fortunately convinced Daddy to use washable marker!

It depends on the formality of the occasion, Etoile. If it's an informal gathering I write on her with indelable felt marker and the four or five days it takes to wash off allow her to savour her humiliation every time she sees herself in the bathroom mirror. I had a formal dinner last year though, in which I tied her elbows to knees as the centre piece of the dining table, and had a little brass plaque made, which I attached to a latex dildo via some coat hanger wire; gave it a sense of occasion.

I like my subs to be of use. That is what they are here for. Furniture is useful, an ornament is not.

Thus, is my sub is entertaining myself and my friends, she is both being useful and fulfilling her purpose, but I can appreciate how you might see it differently if, say, you demanded a greater practicality.

I do. I do not pass judgment on others who like the concept of a submissive as art. It just does nothing for me. If I do not find a submissive beautiful in his own way, he does not serve Me. So beauty for me is in the fact that he bends his knee to Me.
