It has started.

My sister, who is also a domme, has started me on Domme training.

This weekend, she asked me to think about and discuss with her definitions, as I see them, of terms: Top, bottom, Dominant, submissive, slave.

Also, she took me thru Flogging 101. That went quite well, though I have yet to hit a live target. No subbies unfortunately to play with.

Next weekend I am going with her to a local BDSM meetup, and likely go to the local dungeon. I don't expect to play, but I do plan on watching, talking to people, and learning everything I can.

Well, just wanted to share this somewhere. I dunno where this will lead, but I have high hopes. My only fear is that if I get into it RL it might cut down my Lit time.

This is something a long time coming (I've been in denial for more years than I can count) but Sis is a sticker for old-school BDSM, and when I got curious, she stepped in and said I needed to learn it right, not just get info from online, pick up a flogger, and call myself a mistress in a day. Heh.
I will likely have more updates after next weekend. Wish me luck!

LOL, enjoy your journey. Having been commanded by my Master to top others, it has been an experience which has been enjoyable for a variety of reasons, not the least being I have an outlet for my more sadistic side (and yes, I am a masochist of the extreme variety as well so it is interesting mix), and get to be creative and give to others in a way I know they more than appreciate. Flogging a real living, breathing body is fun, the patterns can be mesmerising, the response awesome.

Alrighty! Back from the local Dungeon.

Great time! Wonderful.

OK, the munch before hand was not great. At a so-so BBQ restaurant. So.

The dungeon was great. Naked subbies, willing bottoms, strong Doms and Dommes. A great atmosphere.

I watched everything, soaking it all in.

Sis played a couple people. I mostly just observed, but for one girl, I pitched in by rubbing her with a rabbit fur. It was soft, sensual, and it got me VERY energized! To touch her, to see her respond to my touch, to know that I was controlling her, giving her pleasure, in some small measure ... was wonderful and has confirmed to me more than any other single thing that this is the correct direction to take. I just now have to learn more, and get up the confidence to get over the feeling that everyone was watching.

Next time, I have promised myself, I will do a little more. Use a teaser flogger, perhaps, to help Sis warm someone up, maybe even use a leather flogger, which I really want to do, but still feel a certain lack of confidence ... Don't want to harm anyone by misusing one or hitting someone wrong.

So. Got home with a feeling of empowerment. It was a small step, but I did give someone a small measure of pleasure tonight, and that is what it is all about. No where to go but Up from here!

1. Go slowly and enjoy everything as if you wanted to savor the experience of eating a perfectly ripe fruit.

2. Learn everything you can by watching others and you'll find more people will open up to you if you, yourself are silent.

3. Use extreme caution whenever you use a subbie. Do not get in physically (or emotionally or spiritually as well) over your head and into something you cannot handle.

1. Exactly my plan. I certainly want to grab it all now, have a slave tomorrow, etc. etc. but that is silly. I'm nowhere near ready, and like you say, slowly and enjoying rather than rushing thru the journey is the best way to go.

3. Ahh, this will be the hard one! I'm inexperienced, so I may not know yet what is over my head. In this point, I am trusting to my sister. She's got worlds more experience than I have, and I believe she won't push me too hard too quickly. From what I have read and seen, most subbies won't deal with inexperienced dom(me)s (so how do we get experience then??) anyways. So, I have nothing but time and patience. (Except of course for bieng impatient and wanting it all now. But, the first person I have to discipline and learn to control is myself. So be it.)

I'm also starting out in the D/s lifestyle, but in the other realm of sub. My fiance, who I call my Daddy, and I started together exploring this world. So far, we love it! And like you we are blessed to have an experienced Dom in our lives. Our room mate has been in the D/s lifestyle for years, and calls Daddy his 'Padwan', lol! Our lessons are fun! We've covered basic comands, flogging, and care and feeding of your sub, so to speak.

Everyone starting in this lifestyle should have someone like Tom or your sister to show them the ropes, no pun intended.

I don't know what I'd be doing without sis (Yes I do: Reading BDSM stories and denying I had any interest in BDSM, like before. Heh).

Well, so far Sis and I have covered flogging, and we went last Friday to the local dungeon, and that was an eyeful ( in SO many wonderful, delicious ways! ).

I agree with ya, Sheeva ... Hope one day I can repay the favor to a new Dom(me) ... but of course that is a ways off.

Back from Beyond Vanilla XV After Party!

Didn't have the money to go to the actual event itself, except for the free vendor fair on 10-1, in the afternoon. Picked up a pair of tickets to the afterparty, and was there until just a little bit ago.

More fascinating sights. Naked, squirming subbies, wonderful Doms and Dommes, fetish theme rooms in full operation; fun fun fun!

I helped Sis play a girl. Became a bit of bondage furniture (*grin*) when she had to be undone from her suspension bonds. Sis intended for her just to rest her hands on my shoulders. Well, instead she rested her weight against me, embracing close, resting her head on my shoulder. And as Sis got her worked up again, she pressed in really close.

Exciting, thrilling, and -- no way to put this into a simple word -- the sense of supporting someone and helping to get them through a scene and help their well-being and aftercare, in whatever small way.

Yes, more than just a thrill, but again a sense of exhilaration from helping, supporting, and touching a subbies' life in a positive way.
