I am enjoying selling corn for ethanol. Where were you people when I was selling corn for under $2.00 a bu?? Now it is 7 and I am enjoying myself, Have some sell orders in at 6.00 for new crop in Nov, has not hit yet. I believe it should hit if we have any kind of weather market. I used to feed livestock but why do it with high corn prices. The next thing will be a shortage of beef when the cows are gone they will not come back and it takes time to start a beef herd, from calf to ribeye

I harvested cukes and cabbages and zuchinni this morning. The fridge and freezer are filling quickly. Its how I control food costs around here. Plus I have plenty to give away. Now I gotta learn how to make sauerkraut.

In a month or so I plan to take up fishing. I live on a creek full of bream and bass and catfish (and mocassins). Gonaa buy a smoker for these bad boyz.

In a while more folks like me will learn how to prevail over our American/Chinese Masters, and rehab our American economy from the bottom up.

What inflation?

There is no inflation. Everything costs exactly the same as it always has, it's just that the US dollar under Emperor Obama's regime is worth about 20% less than under the benevolent Bushitler.

I live in Australia and our Aussie dollar is up about 20% against the US dollar since 2008 to 30-year highs. Even the sick Euro is up against the US dollar.

We would like to thank Emperor Obama. He has been very, very good for us.

I am 20% richer today than before the GFC. Thank you, Emperor Obama. Petrol prices and food prices are down in Australia. Every import is cheaper and we are at full employment. Our stock market is peaking and interest rates are rising to keep our economy from overheating. Paradoxically, we have a totally ignorant socialist Green government - like an albatross around our necks - who would derail our economic growth with onerous regressive taxation, yet powered by the out flow of wealth from the US our little economic engine continues to roar.

Go figure.

Again. I would like to thank Emperor Obama for spreading the wealth around!

Kobe beef is becoming more affordable. (ha)

And Venezuelan beef is super-tasty as well as being less expensive than North American factory beef.

For example: If you bought a common Morgan Dollar for $10 a few years ago, its silver content has inflated its price to 30-something dollars. And if you buy one of these inflated silver dollars today you'll lose your ass when silver deflates.
