.. Something else that I did, to give me more space under the bed for storage, is I bought a set of four risers at Linens and Things, I think they were around $10.00. My bed is several inches higher than before and I can fit more stuff under the bed!

GREAT tip! We keep storage containers under our bed for stashing clothing and stuff, but they ARE a tight fit. The bed is like a half of an inch to short for them to slide under easily. i'll check those out. Thanks !

You are welcome! They work pretty dang good and with a bed ruffle, you can't even see them. I had the same delima before the risers. They work and they are cheap and sturdy!! I think they came in black and white. Good luck!
