can anyone point me to suitable discussion threads on lit or other resources to help her explore this?

Don't have an answer for you (since I'm on the other side of the slash) but have you considered asking this in the BDSM Cafe? I've been around that forum (and BDSM Talk) for a number of years and don't recall ever seeing that topic, but there are Dommes there, so the knowledge is there. Just a thought.

There's a few Reddit communities about femdom that are quite informative. That said, I would say the main aspect is to learn what she likes and how she wants to domme. Is she into the gentler stuff, harsher, humiliation, etc? She needs to gain enough confidence to exude it in the play and really just slowly find the dynamic that she craves. Different strokes for different folks really. The lovely thing about D/s really is how many different ways there are to do it. As long as everything is safe and consensual.

Definitely suggest to her the book The Mistress Manual by Mistress Lorelei! Its a great book to start domming with. Also, this might be a given but check out Fetlife as well.
