Snow is absorbent. I guess you could get dry that way, though in a cold environment, the air is so dry that usually water will steam right off of you.veryblueeyes said:You guys, it is amazing the feats he has done.
Thor, just trying to get me to Alaska. No need to twist my arm, hun.
Perg, I thought of you, as he was talking about exactly what you were saying about wet clothes in the snow. He said you lose 25% more body heat with wet clothes. He stripped naked in the snow and proceeded to rub snow on his body. He said that doing that actually makes you become dry faster. I was thinking, huh? He rubbed snow in his hair and then waited before putting on dry clothes.
Babygrrl, the indoor climbing is going well? I really liked indoor climbing and strengthens so many muscles. I hope the little man does awesome tonight.
Hiya, BeBe!

There you go. Get some blood out to the skin to boil off the remaining water and then get dressed quick.veryblueeyes said:Well, he also did naked pushups before getting dressed. See? Sexy, I say. *wink*
Thor, don't throw snowballs at the moose.![]()
Great to see you and have a great evening, BeBe.

He's a tough bastard, that's for sure.

I think like that all the time.veryblueeyes said:My perverted mind was thinking...
Ok, low pushups, wet in the snow; my nipples would be cutting ice through anything in the snow. So then I thought; his goods must have travelled to his throat.
Ok, yes I am a perv.![]()

Tyler who?atmas said:Check out Outside Magazine this month...an interesting article (I have yet to read) about a mountaineer's son climbing Everest, I think (or some 8000m peak) to exorcise the ghost of his father.
Also an article on Tyler Hamlton returning to continental cycling after a two year drug ban.
