I am trying my hand at a new photochop, but the techniques are not readily available as with most advanced techniques; so for now, it is all trial and error, asking some others for help (which some are not much help) and around we go.

There is a contest on making something melt. It looks easy, but it is not. There were others listed i could not figure out either.

I wonder if somebody has a secret source for all these neat techniques?

I am guessing it is more experience than some magic wand.

Well, basic PS stuff is not too bad, but once you get into cloning, pasting stuff in, matching stuff, changing things around, making it look real and interesting at the same time is very, very difficult.

Oh, this is just for fun. I am in no position or have the experience to do this stuff for money. maybe later, but that is way later.

We use it a lot for mapping - making mosaics of large areas and such. You can get into a real mess trying to make water from a hundred different pics, all taken at different times of the day, blend together.

I am glad I am not you. Your case requires it to work at a deadline even. If I fail, I can simply start something else.
