"Because it's there."

Beautiful, Perg!

Love the mt. goat. I never seem to get close enough for a descent picture.

Hi, climbers!
I'm reading about Todd Skinner's death. Seems it was either a total equipment failure (belay loop coming undone, quite unlikely) or a lapse of judgement (unlikely).
We'll never know.
Hi...

My money is on judgment.

Thanks, you. Yeah, he was quite docile and hung around close for a while. Very fun.

Whoa.

That's one hell of a goat, Perg! Nice shots, all of them. You're making me nostalgic...

It's such beautiful country. And yeah, the goat was an unexpected surprise.

Thanks.

How common are goats to that area? Is this a really blessed moment, or just a pedestrian event in the Bridger area?
Nice photo, anyway, Peregrinateur.

They're common at a distance, but this guy was really docile and hung around the people.

Thanks.

How does it taste?

Funny...Perfect Tommy and I were just talking about what it would take to kill one of these guys...are they always so docile, Thor? Cuz this guy would hardly have been sporting at all. I think I could have bumped him off with a frisbee.

Lovely pics. That goat is so weird. Our mountain goats are skinny, wiry little things. That one looks like it's been gobbling steroids.
