And I am not likely to be convincing anyone on LIT of anything.

I don't recall any discussion of any topic that anyone ever actually was convinced to change their views. Not via repetition or logic, not by passionate yelling or name calling, not by science, not by religion.

There are a lot of people around here who I once thought were intelligent and clever, after discussing the issue, I changed my views.

Not to mention confusing. I can't remember if it was in Lit's FAQ or somewhere else, but I saw a definition for this as something like, if you took the scene on its own and it read as though it was two humans, it was fine.

I avoid this by having my were-characters be in human form when they have sex. A lot easier all around.

I usually avoid it by not writing nonhuman. (But I do sometimes, I'll have to admit. A satyr here, an alien monster there. No unicorns, though.)

I embrace the beast yet try to keep it tamed/restrained for the sake of society.

One of my earliest fanfiction attempts was Rocky Horror-- Frank installed a button in someone's neck that when pushed would change them from male to female, human to panther...

Nope. What LC really wants is for one person who reads or writes stories involving Centaurs, Minotaurs three headed dogs or anything "animal like" fucking people to admit that they are into bestiality and this is a loophole way to get a cheap thrill off of it.

I as well as many others will admit to an incest kink. That's not to say I have done it or would do it, but its a fantasy.

There are women with rape fantasies who of course would never want to be raped and men with them who would never rape anyone, but its fantasy and they can admit it.

So I want someone to step up and say "I read centaur stories because I love it when a woman sucks a horses cock"

Like most things, I do not believe it is that cut and dried.
I am sure there can be that element to some people's interest in "Non-human" sexual fantasies. But I also think there is something else...perhaps an interest in something that is closer to human sex, but the animalistic part of humans. I think I "can love it when a woman sucks a centaur's cock", because the centaur has a big cock AND the centaur has a man's mind and appreciation> a richer combination. As smart as horses are,it isn't the same. (to me)
 
"We" are going to pretend whatever we need to pretend, to get along in this world.

You would have to have an incentive for "we" that makes up for the disapproval of people who are more important to "we" than you are, if you want people to speak up in the face of so much societal pressure. I can't imagine what that would be.
