I have a closely trimmed beard...more than scruff, less than a full-on Santa beard. I haven't had any complaints. I think as long as you keep it clean, it's a good look. Let it get a little wild...not so much.

dude, I just retired after 6 years....and I tried to growm my facial and head hair...both of them drive me nuts, I just cant shake the high fade + clean shaven

I'm curious for those ladies that enjoy beards if this is a recent attraction or have you always thought they were sexy? I change my facial hair every year or so, but this past year I grew a beard again and I get a lot of compliments from women, whereas a few years ago when I had one some female friends told me they never thought they were sexy. Of course, maybe it depends on the mug the beard is attached to!

You can always shave if you don't like the beard. I keep it at a goatee, maybe I should grow a beard.
