But maybe Neon can post her picture again... 63 and no fog in sight at the moment. I'm looking forward to seeing the meteor shower later this evening but I'll probably have to wear long sleeves... (Am I being sadistic -- this might just be nasty.)

Come visit.... And I haven't forgotten the other item, it will happen as soon as schedules permit.

I was just fishing for some sort of "poor baby" but it does not look like that is coming from this group tonight *sigh*

I do love how the early mornings have been lately - I have been waking up at about 5:00 a.m. and it is just lovely then and for the next few hours.
Ah, yes, but by 10 AM, that evil humid heat is beating down in an unrelenting way. Mother Nature is an evil Domme, sometimes.

I've been in Wichita during hot summer days. That place is so damn flat, you'd think a slight breese would blow the heat away. But, it just bakes into the ground, and then radiates back up as still hotter air.

But, these are the hot days of August. We've been lucky in recent summers to not get such heat spells. But, we Kansans are a tough breed. We'll prevail and get a nice suntan in the process. And the electric companies will dance with glee as our electric bills rocket into the very sweltering sky. Long live air-conditioning and a nice cold beer.

Oh, and don't forget the one small favor that this heat brings with it. Grass goes dormant so we don't hae to mow the yard. Yea!!!!

The heat is oppressive and the humidity can make one feel as if trying to breath while under water. Heat, humidity, and smog have wreaked havoc with my respiratory functions, blech!

Dormant grass due to heat? I wish. Unfortunately, here in Georgia, there has been just enough rain to cause my lawn to grow as if it was on steroids! Hurry up, Autumn (a mere two months away, hopefully).

Hi. I'm replying to the part of your post you have in bold. Of course, if we get rain, the grass will grow and we have to mow it. But, in the hot days of August, here in the flatlands of Kansas and the area around it, it just seems to get hot. Hot and dry, dusty, humid, simmering vapor, car exhaust smelling, sweltering heat.

This year seems to have been making up for the last couple of years that it didn't really happen. But, we're used to it, because it's a normal thing for this time of year. But, I've heard good news. In a couple of days your heat wave is suppose to end. It will actually get down into the upper 80s and maybe even rain.

There's good to that, and there's bad to that. The good is, we need the rain. It hasn't rained much for a couple of weeks and the hot air has really dried everything out. But, the bad side of it is the grass will get a drink and start to green up and grow again.

I guess you can't have everything in life. The good outweighs the bad in this particular case. Unless you're me and I hate mowing the yard. Although, the misquitos all line up and wait for me to come out of the house. For them, mowing time is dinner time.

Well, then, instead of a drink, may I buy you a tube of bug repellant? Or, I can be ready with a tube of cortisone to sooth those itchy bites.

I think I have a corner on deet bug spray. It's necessary for when I mow the yard. I haven't yet found the airport that the misquitoes use, but when I do, I'm going to bomb that sucker.

I'd let you apply my bug spray, but that's not a very sexy job. And, to make it a sexy job, you'd be applying it to areas that don't need it...not that being sexy required a reason to be.

But, I'm not a submissive nor a masochist. You should know what I mean, if you've ever had bug spray on sensitive skin like that between your legs. Doms and Dommes, if you are looking for an evil thing to do to your sub or slave, that would be it. God help 'em, if they aren't masochistic, though.

Now, the cortizone cream sounds like fun. I don't know if it's for the sensitive skin areas or not, but if not, we can just get some lotion and pretend. I don't plan on getting misquito bites on my cock, but I think it will need some serious lotion, none the less. You'll need to apply firm pressure and rub up and down and up and down until the swelling goes down.

Instead of lotion, you could bring your mouth...it provides a lotion that's just right. Yes, I'm being pretty vague, but when you show up, I'll be sure to instruct you on the proper procedure to follow. On the job training IS provided. :D :p :D :p

It’s true that applying bug spray is not necessarily a sexy job, but one I’d enjoy doing, knowing I am helping to protect my Dom from the elements. Doesn’t have to be sexy in order to enjoy performing. Being a sub, as well as masochistic, it might set my mind to thinking how I could spray those nice limbs, but not touch. That would be a sweet masochistic-type tease, being somewhat tormenting, not being able to touch.

You know, mosquitoes are pretty tiny and can find their way to the most sensitive spots. In any case, why ever would I want the swelling to go down? I only want to soothe and ease the "itchiness".

1. saliva is a salve in many circumstances
2. I love “on the job training” where do I sign up?
