I you too. Did I miss your toes there? I have a habit of hitting toes on accident. I thought that it would go away when I started crutching more than wheeling, but I was wrong. I've nailed some toes with the crutches too. I'm crutcbing maybe 60 percent of the time now. The hot rod is more for shopping expeditions or long walks, or when I'm tired.

Has to be a brain washing thing. I'd suspect school officials or maybe playground monitors.. I've always said "by accident" but maybe that was...by accident.

My guess is it started as 'an accident', and then switched to 'on'. They sound a lot alike, and for those of us who're lazy speakers (guilty) youc can't tell the difference.

That makes sense. My kids insist it's correct to say on accident, I insist it's not but admit it is widely used now. It's an ongoing thing between us.
