I'm writing a story based entirely on the BDSM lifestyle and would like for someone with a lot of experience in that area to take a look at it for realism and quite frankly, believability. I've done some research on the lifestyle and I've put a lot of work into the story so, I would prefer not to get backlash because I've depicted the lifestyle wrong.

How long is it, and what kinks are involved?

There's huge variation in what could be called BDSM lifestyles (I nearly snarked that there's no such thing, but that wouldn't be helpful). So it comes down to what's plausible for a few humans to get up to.

I note that in real life there's a disappointing shortage of millionaire dominants just desperate to take away all the worries of stressed subs...

Ah, sorry. I certainly could have been a tad more specific.

Specifically the nuances of a dom/sub relationship including the idea of a single sub with 2 doms.

It’s quite a varied area with nothing set in stone EXCEPT: safety, respecting their hard limit list - avoid “ALL” thst state they have “”NO LIMITS! Everyone has limits - remind em you could give em that massage with a chainsaw!

The best fiction arises out of the personal experience. Get out there and get some BDSM experience. There is a Master on here call ‘Dapperguy’ if you want some experience of a personal nature, he’s the one. I know because I've experienced his methods.

I'm not in a position where I can get real life experience... The original post was looking for someone to review a story submission I was working on to see if it checked with reality but it seems people liked it enough.
