From what I can gather, lost, ~Dream~ seems to be upset that the BBWs are receiving all the compliments here, thats why I just pointed out in a previous post that this is a BBW thread.

Yes I made a smart ass remark about ugly skinny people. I did not mean to say all skinny people are ugly. Just making a poorly worded rebuttal against society which equates thinness with beauty. I meant say that some skinny people let their bitterness show in their looks. Even though they are skinny and some in society may consider them attractive because of this, they are still ugly. There are some big women and men like this also. although none on this thread.
If anyone was offended I'm sorry and willing to take my punishment.

Darn! Pod was here and I slept right through his visit! Well, not "here" as in where I am...I mean "here on the board". Hey Pod sweetie...hope to catch you here next time.

Thanks to all of you who have given me words of encouragement on my weight/surgery situation. It feels good to know that I can discuss it freely here.

I understand about the people who have had the surgery, lost the weight and regained it. That does happen. But from what I understand, it is usually those who don't follow the "rules" after the surgery. They push the limit of their pouch and stretch it (after a gastric bypass, you have a "pouch", about the size of a thumb, instead of a real "stomach"), and they eat the things that their body tells them not to (the things that make them sick after the surgery...usually refined carbs, sweets and fats...sheesh...that is my current diet! LOL!).

My best friend, whom I mentioned had the surgery, had the surgery about 10 months ago and has gone from 356 pounds, to over 100 pounds lost. She now weighs less than I do. I won't say how much I weigh, but she recently passed my weight on her way down. LOL! (Pod, are you sitting there figuring that out? haha!)

I am thinking of sending you guys a link to a picture of me taken in August this year, but not sure how to do it. Only problem is, I don't want just every Tom, Dick, Harry and Jane to see it. Hmm...how about this. If you want to see the pic, PM me (or e-mail me) and if you're a regular here (or on other boards that I frequent), I'll send you the link. OK?

Well, gotta go and finish up with my mail and such...hubby and I are going out on a date...to buy a new coffeemaker! Some date...NOT! LOL!
