Welcome to my rainy, dreary day. This is a typical south Texas winter day...cool and wet.

About the discussion of size. I am definitely a BBW, and I'm not happy about it. Long story, but those of you who "know" me from other threads probably have read about my woe-is-me rantings! LOL!

I'm 5'3" and while I'm not going to say how much I weigh, I will say that I qualify for the gastric bypass operation I hope to have sometime within the next few months. Please: no razzing me on accepting myself as I am, mutilating my body, etc. It isn't just cosmetic reasons for the surgery; my well-being physically is suffering, as is my family. Having the surgery isn't something I am considering lightly. It is a huge, irrevocable, life-changing step and it has been hard for me to make it.

Ok...sorry about getting off-topic. I'm just bummed out today.

I feel for those of you who aren't "getting any", but I'm sort of in your shoes, even though I'm married. It hasn't been "years" for me, but for a married woman, less than 10 times in one year isn't good.

Guess I'll sign off and mosey on down the road now. Hope I didn't depress any of you. I apologize if I did.

Why would any give you a hard time about surgery?
That's your decision. i think i can speak for everybody and say that we would want you to be happy period. If that means surgery for you than do it.
I hope it is successful.

Because there are those who feel that the procedure is "the easy way out" (believe me...I know people who have had the surgery, and it is NOT the easy way out), those who think it is a "cop out", and then there are the Big Beautiful People who think that I should just be happy as I am.

Now Blue we are all here to help. Your mental and physical health should always come first and screw everyone else. I'm first in line for that! BTW, have you seen pictures of Carnie Wilson's surgery. I think it was the same one your going in for. If I was closer I'd offer to be a nurse for your recovery.
If you need help resizing that pics just send it to me and I maybe able to help. I think you need to post a BBW pict while you still are one. It's the inner glow that makes beauty. Some of the ugliest people I ever see are skinny.

Hehehe ok the mouth of the south has to jump in here and put her 2 cents worth in. Blue Daisy, I don't think anyone in here would say anything bad about the decision you have made. We all have to do whatever it takes to be happy with ourselves. I, too, have even given thought to having the surgery you speak of, I even went as far as visiting the dr twice. What changed my mind, is I have several friends that have had the surgery and it worked, however on a couple of them it didn't, they lost alot of weight but slowly gained it all back and to this day can't eat certain foods. I just felt I better hold off and that was strictly my decision. I applaude you and your decision and I will support you in any way I can.

I think possibly that ~Dream~ took dpod's comment out of context. He wasn't throwing rocks at small ladies. This IS, however, a BBW pic thread. This thread was created to be a place that BBWs could come to and be admired by those that prefer them. While we welcome everyone in this thread and we love everyone, the main focus IS on BBWs.

Ok, having put in a little more than 2 cents, I will step down off my pulpit. I would like to add that I love each and everyone of you that comes here and posts and I love getting to know you all. We are all individuals and that, by itself, makes each and every one of us beautiful regardless of size.
