i know i gave my opinion on the thread Fury mentioned, but i'll post it here as well. i have discovered that primarily my weight is only an issue for ME. Meaning, with the exception of one asshole, no Dom has told me i needed to lose weight as a condition of being with them...etc. However, what it does affect in the relationship dynamic is my ability to see myself as They see me and graciously accept a compliment. For example, my standard answer to "you're so pretty", or "you're so sexy" is "Whatevah.." Doesn't work real well...trust me...and in that way i guess you could say it affects my ability to serve. i am trying to get better about it though...and it has become a lot easier with my current partner because it is obvious how much they are attracted to me.

UGH...don't know if that helped any...but that's my jumbled opinion for the moment.

I have read some of the threads on being a bigger person and the thoughts of weight control between Master and slave, but I was hoping for something a little more concrete. I would really love to know how both sides feel about BBW, and if it is something that is an issue or just a complaint and stigma from society. I am a bigger girl and I would say that I am pretty but most of the men I have met in person can’t handle my size. Hence I have a bit of a hang up… If you have had an issue like this or have known someone like this I would greatly appreciate your opinions. Does being bigger affect sex, or the ability to serve? Is it something that people judge you on or am I reading too much into it. If you have any other opinions on this subject I would greatly appreciate it. I don't know... if I had given this assignment, and found out about this thread, I would NOT be a happy Dom. Yes, this thread would be appropriate to "find more information on the opinions of BBW & BDSM together," but to also seek to have others steer you to - and email them to you! - the photos to me seems like skipping out on part of the assignment that is your responsibility - to "look up information and photos of real BBW women who are interested in BDSM." But then, maybe I'm stricter than your PYL.

Being bigger might affect sex, but it doesn't prevent sex. It doesn't affect your ability to serve unless you have weight-related disabilities.

Maybe i haven't been instructed to lose weight ( i don't consider a wanna-be saying you will be thin or you won't be with me instruction.) because i am usually very upfront and tell them i am trying to lose weight. Besides, i just had a baby 6.5 months ago...so some extra lbs are to be expected....(but i'm smaller now than i was before my first pregnancy 4 yrs ago... WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO) Like you though, Etoile, when i share my accomplishments i am always praised highly...which just feels wonderful.

(The fact that i am also trying to recover from a pattern of disordered eating also complicates things for me a great deal.)
