he was with the americans that got killed by the friendly fire and he used his video phone straight away to make a report after the bomb landed just feet away from him and he was wounded also with dead people nearby

In the early days of Israel some Israelis were caught committing terrorist acts while dressed as arabs. It goes both ways, the differency is that Israel is a country with hundreds of nuclear weapons and billions of dollars in aid each year from the U.S. and a Prime Minister who says "Don't worry about America, we control America."

Hopefully one day Hammas and the rest of them will realise that all they are doing with their suicide bombings is to help the Israeli right wing.

Much as I would like to laud the BBC I have to agree with morningGirl5. The story could have waited a few minutes while lives were being saved.

O.K. Let's look at it this way. How would you feel if you woke up tomorrow as a Palestinian? Wouldn't you feel differently about the situation? It is very easy to get heated on one side of a conflict or the other, but regardless of whether you felt betrayed by your fellow Palestinians who decided to resort to terrorism, I bet you would hate those IDF when they came and bulldozed your home.

We all seize on those things that let us condemn the other side, but the fact is that some Israelis have committed horrendous acts and that's why the Palestinians generally hate them. And some Palestinians have committed horrendous acts and that is why many Israelis hate them.

Some Palestinians think Israel should be totally destroyed. Some Israelis think the borders should be broadened to include large areas of several arab countries in the area.

Clearly there won't be any peace until Israel apologizes for its sorry history of terrorising arabs and driving them off their land, arabs renounce terrorism, and some kind of balance is achieved between the two when it comes to military might and funding from rich countries.

Just excoriating arabs for doing just what you would have done if a bunch of strangers came and bombed your villages and told you the country belong to them won't solve the situation.

SG as much as it might pain you the humanitarian thing to do would help those that were seriously wounded. I have never believed in job first in such situations and probably never will. Yes he was wounded also but he was still able to report the incident, which means he probably could have helped with the seriously wounded. Just my opinion of course.
