I'm mentioning a new story here because there are a couple of links (for background info) that I can only include in forum postings. And as I mentioned in a previous thread I sometimes wish to promote and advertise a particular story on this board.

Oh my golly, that's one of my favorite episodes! So freaking sad though. I showed it to my 16 year old a couple weeks ago and she about cried.

It was one of my favorite episodes too - probably I first saw it in the 1980s but I'm not sure. Jack Warden and Jean Marsh starred in it.

With all due respect to Rod Serling, my version has a different tone.
