im guess im starting this cus im interested in knowing what you think..
so what kinda things do you consider when tipping your starving server? wether your at a bar, or a restaurant.. are you one of those that needs everything fast, and prompt refills of your diet soda? do you notice when its busy, and things take a little longer? if it does, does your tip go down as a result even though its out of your servers hands? if things take longer but your little servers running his or hers ass off, do you take that into account? what if you get your glass of wine and theres a little floatie of cork in it? do you send it back and not tip? if you keep sending your server on many repetetive errands <by this i mean asking for a side of ranch when your food arrives, then once they get back w/ that asking for a refill, and then when they get back from that telling them that your coffee needs refilling, and your fries are cold> do you compensate them, or is this, in your mind all part of the job for them? where do you start, 10%? 15%? 20% :gasp:
tell tell tell..
