The 2:00 a.m. sounds of our cats having soccer practice with a furiously buzzing cicada.


Worse.


Finding that same cicada this morning, chewed up, swallowed and hairball-thrown-up near the pillow of my bed.

Bleah.

So, you're saying that your kitty bravely saved you from flesh-ravishing cicadas (even though this upset kitty's delicate tummy) and you're not grateful for the sacrifice?

They just found some green leafhopper thing and are currently chasing it around the house.

I wonder what that will look like in a hairball?

(Small aside here - how on earth does every single damn bug manage to find its way inside my home?????)
