I generally eschew all discussion on the subject because to take a Pro-abortion stance requires being dismissive of human life in general and there really isn't any arguing with a person who comes from that position with pride.

It is just weird to me as a father. From the time you find out your wife is pregnant you start thinking fondly about your child. Every little possible negative medical sign cause dread, Every positive experience like a kick or the little hand wave in the ultrasound are sources of joy.

Since the Demographics of violence-prone DC is overwhelmingly Black, unless you believe ALL of the blacks are criminals, why WOULDN'T you want the poor Blacks in the district able to defend themselves?

Rarely is a shooting a miscreants first offense. Nearly everyone that I personally would want to deny a firearm to in that community is already forbidden to do so and doesnt care at all about such restrictions.

It isn't a coincidence that gun control has always been the most fashionable in cities with significant Black populations. The hope was it would disarm blacks while allowing a Bernie Goetz the comfort of a discreetly carried firearm. I mistakenly waded in to point out that the stated aim of Margaret Sanger of containing population growth of "undesirables" (in this case under discussion Blacks) has in fact been successful. The population (and influence) of Blacks in this country has been demonstrably curbed by Planned Parenthood.
