So we've all heard the arguements of beeswax versus parafin and what not on the types of candles... but i have a different question to ask...
Recently I had wax dripped on me and the scene had to be stopped because it was too painful. The first time I halted action, he tried it on his hand and felt I was being a bit of a wimp. But quickly decided it was too much for me. We wondered why his hand would be okay and my legs and body wouldn't.... and then we thought perhaps it was because the wax was somehow more painful against my skin because the areas had larger pores then the inside of my hand (which he dripped the wax on and though I found it to be very warm, it was not so warm I screamed in pain)... anyhow the inside of a hand should be more sensitive then the calf yes so what other reason could there be?
Any theories?
