There was a thread a few years ago about people being willing to make exceptions for the no-hats-indoors rule of etiquette if it were religious headwear and the discussion got really interesting. I'm of the mind that a religious belief deserves no more respect or special treatment than any old personal belief. This is awesome, but I'll be even happier on the day they make an exception for someone who just really fucking loves their hat.
