Awesome! Man!

I have been in some of the remaining forested areas in Central Florida lately, ancient trees and close encounters with wildlife(the panther....er.......bobcat I saw has compelled me to carry a large bowie knife in the Tosohatchee Wildlife Preserve....a rabid bobcat attack a few years ago kept running through my mind in which a hiker was attacked repeatedly by the crazed animal in Wekiva Springs area and was finally shot and killed by the rangers......I mean the animal was shot and killed by the rangers he..he..) but the beauty of these spots really has drawn me to the awe of my childhood, the sweet smell of woodland with it's rich life giving fragrance and the singing of the Pine Warlbers returns me to dreams of the past.
Sigh!:)

I am having entirely too much fun.......I have started butterfly garden recently and I am astounded how quick results happen....I was looking for a particular vine that the Gulf Fritillarys like for larval food........I found 40 or more vines in my yard under my nose.....I had been mowing them for years......and here I was trying to buy them! I potted up a bunch of them and..........before they barely start growing...the Gulf Frits are laying eggs on them....catepillars are munching.....Yikes! How am I going to feed all these babies? I had to move the plants because the pest control man was here, as I was moving the plants a Gulf Frit was flying under my arm to get to the plants.....:D

Got Cassia alata for the sulphur butterflies(Already have two Catepillars munching away on my young plants)
Dill for the Black Swallowtails
Milkweed for the Monarchs and Queens
and of course Passiflora suberosa for the Gulf Frits and Zebra Longwings

I have to say that orgasms are awsome be it your own or your partner's and getting there is awsome too!....and....aw hell....Lovemaking is awsome......gee......I wonder where my mind is tonight?

I'm guessing that it is on getting and receiving orgasms. Am i right did i win? Oh this wasn't a contest....
Hey JR how are you tonight?:D

I think some people think I'm nuts for spending so much time in my garden each year. But aside from work, it's a place of beauty and peacefulness. The butterflies and bees are a fringe benefit... I'm into gardening to keep my sanity. :D

Hello Arden, what a beautiful garden! :rose: I am envious of you northern gardeners for the selections of plants that grow up there.:) (Northern in this case means North Georgia and up)
Then again I get to mess with palms and such......

I do find gardening a zen experience......and....yes...<he looks around to see if anyone is listening>..I talk to the plants:) ......I used not to but a scientific study was done about talking to plants and they do respond to talking and music.....I do not have speakers from the music system out there yet and I do not know how they will respond to salsa:D Actually hearing the birds is all I need.

What is funny about butterfly gardening is when you see eaten up plants you get happy instead of upset.....I do need to start bringing the catepillars in to protect them from the birds.......listen to me I have lost my mind:)

I am almost prepared to make my yard a butterfly paradise.
I have just about all the Passionflower vines they like(Passiflora-suberosa, incarnata and incense) I have a few species of Milkweed growing, Nectar Plants scattered about. My Passiflora suberosa has at least 15 Gulf Fritillary butterfly catepillars on it and I keep finding new eggs everyday. My Cassia alata will never grow up as the sulphured butterfly catepillars are eating it as fast as it grows.

Any one who has not tried it I reccomend it.....it is very zen nuturing the nature around you.
