Will someone please be nasty? Just way too much niceness in this place today. It's cold and raining and I'm crabby.

And I need a hug.

And my hugger is 900 miles away. :(

Oh IrishWolfhound... Your av is sooooo cute.... Here I will give you a hug too... You don't have fleas do you????

Sigh! Isn't it fabulous!

I think the new family at LIT thread is shaping to be an wonderful thing. I can't think of a better bunch of people.:)

True. Like most families there are a few oddballs mixed in (me in particular) but we are harmless on the whole.

I have to classify myself in the odd category as well as I hold western rationalization in contempt.:) I am harmless as well but get pretty irked when confronted with abusive behavior which in the family I perceive is unlikely to happen.

Abusive...highly unlikely. We'll just be like most families and drive each other crazy.

Well we do anyways... Hi Guys and Jewelz...peeking in to say Hi...

JR...we'll have none of this "having your sister" nonsense. We run a clean place here. The closest relative you can have is a second cousin. (Oh, that's right. You are in the South. I guess first cousins are allowed, there. :p )

He..he...and sisters and mothers...(music from "Deliverance" playing in the background...dueling banjos)

Naughty JR. My love is a Southern Belle. I may be required to challenge you to a duel for besmirching Southern honor.

It seems I have besmirched my own mother's name, she is from the south. I hang my head in shame, do with me what you will.
As my integrity is naught, the lowest of the low. :(

Good evening everyone, don't mind me, I'm just gonna go curl up with my coffee and let the day slip away.

Hey Georgia! Make yourself comfortable...can I warm your coffee up? But I must warn you my brew is a little strong but good.

I am awed that I got to see the Mangrove Swallow presently in Brevard Conty
this bird is from southern Mexico and Central America and is here in the
In the United States for the first time ever. Apparently it followed some Mexican
Cave Swallows here. :)

JR...major cool on the swallow. While not an avid birder, when I see an unusual one I'll run to my Field Guide to try & figure it out.

GG...well just damn! I missed a chance to curl up with you (or at your feet like a good hound should.)

And for awesomeness...well yesterday I finally got my stereo hooked up after two weeks, no it's three now, in my new place.

To once again enjoy Bach, Vivaldi, Coltrane.

Lady D...when are you going to burn some country CD's like you promised me?

I go no where with out my Sibleys field guide and my binoculars.
There are a lot of birding opportunities where I live.:)

I'm in awe of love. It can make us cry or make us laugh. It can be stedfast and strong. It wears many faces that we can give to others in varying degrees. Love can give you so many things.

Thank you, JR, for giving me your love. The kind that I've been dreaming of all my life.

soft kisses,
whspr:kiss:

I'm in awe of those big container ships...stand below one of them things and tell me how the heck they float....

I am in awe that you are in my life, to think that I almost did not recognize you, what a tragedy that would have been.
Thank you whspr for your complete and gentle love.:rose:
