Average wait time

The first few times I submitted something on literotica for publication it took only a few days for it to be rejected or approved. It’s been nine days this time. Is this normal? Is there a big backlog atm?

Nobody here knows the "average" wait time, sitewide. There are many, many variables that go into the length of time it's pending. Most of my stories take a couple days; I've had some enter the queue in as few as five hours, and others in as many as three or four weeks. That has depended on the categories, whether they're submitted for a contest, and other reasons.
