well, here i am at 100+ posts... i absolutely love this pic.... cym, i hope i am not stepping on your toes by using this one.. i know you are a lover of nipple pics also... if so, let me know, and i will change it... .

I've got quite a few av's that center on nipple play of one kind or another. I've been using them for, well, the whole of my time here, i guess. (Not the newer ones, of course!) Shall we do a little email thing to be sure we're not using the same ones, perhaps?

The Real Me.....

Well, i decided to jump on the bandwagon, and give everyone a peek at what i really look like.... thanks to SpectreT, petrel, Blue, chatbug..... giving me the courage to let my real self be shown to all my new friends here at Lit..... hugs to all.... sierra

i'm awfully glad to have had a hand in the "truth in advertising" movement which has compelled this "peek" at you.

i have to admit that in my case, i was mostly inspired to put up my mugshot because so many people thought i was a woman! <lol>

Now hardly anybody does! i guess that i'm just "not like the other guys". (i'm not like many other humans)

You're not like the others either. You're better!

Stay yourself! That'd be tough to improve on.

Hmmm...there's a puzzle

i'm not altogether sure i understand the question.

Isn't the Av you're using now "custom"? As to "storing" Av's on the server, it seems as if you can have only one at a time, and you obviously know how to change them or we wouldn't be able to see your lovely head shot as i write.

Did you solve your problem? If not could you ask the question in a different way?

Okay sorry I wasn't clear - when I go to my user CP to change my AV it gives you an option to 'browse' for the AV on your PC hard or to select an AV from the available list - I assumed it would store the AV's you had used automatically but apparantly not so all i have is the AV i am using at the moment and every time I want o change it I have to search my PC for the pic I want then upload it again.
I get the impression there is some way to have a set (like playing cards) laid out on the screen all saved on the server at Lit and then you just click the one you want to use today

Is that any clearer?

i see...i'm not positive, but i think that reference to "selecting an avatar from the available list" is an option that isn't being used.

i believe the software has space for a bunch of "standard Avs" you know the kind of clipart cowboys, doctors, princesses, frogs, dogs, etc. for people who don't have the software or knowledge to make up a custom Av.

The average IQ of Lit members is high enough that folks around here tend to be pretty computer literate as well as book literate. Picking an Av has become a kind of "rite of passage" and nobody would want to use a little cartoon spaceman anyway.

That's my theory anyway, perhaps one of the local deities will confirm or deny later.

It would be a nice feature to change with the weather, internal or external, from your own collection. i know of at least one other who would adore such power.

If i find out any more i will let you know instantly!

You're right on that. The UBB program they're running here does have an option for "standard avs" but it isn't being used.

Just thought I'd confirm that while I was around.

i've really enjoyed your work and your posts since you joined us at Lit. i always wondered what kind of software made this place run, it really is wonderfully functional. Obviously not the work of Microsoft. <lol>
