I recently had 2 stories published and woulkd like to know how to link my profile to my stories and also how does one go about getting an Avatar uploaded? I have tried in CP but to no avail

you have to have 100 posts first to get an avatar

Thx Pointless I was aware to a degree of the 100 posts but thought that pertained to "Custom" Avatars. Oh well just means I have to keep enjoying myself and reply to more Lol

To link your stories in your sig line, do this:


[ URL=*insert the url here with no spaces/]Look at my stories here![/ URL]


The words in the [brackets] should have no spaces in them, however.

You can also put your story link in your profile under My WWW.


After you nab the 100 post count, go into Edit Options, and at the bottom, click change avatar. This will take you to a screen that says some bs about thanking you for changing shit, but will then bring up a seperate AV page.

On this page, click the bullet that says Use Custom AV.

Then, find the file, and enter it in. If the AV is more than 150x150 in size, or more than 20k bites. If you are uncertain of the size, check it in a graphics editor. It won't allow anything at all even a smidgeon over those sizes, so check it close.

If you need help finding AV's, or resizing them, ask in the resize an AV thread.

Actually, you're correct, that it requires 100 posts for a custom avatar. It just so happens that those are the ONLY avatars Lit offers.

Any image can be used as an avatar, it just has to be resized to fit. My avatar came from my digital camera, but a scanner will work, or an image search with google or another search engine.

Don't limit your search to avatar sized images; most of the "avatars" sites ofer a limited selection of cartoon "dollies."

I did a search on Google for 'erotic avatars' and found a lot of great sites with many sexy pictures already sized for use.
