i've reached a 100 but i still can't choose an avatar.

Try logging out and logging back in. Sometimes it takes a few minutes.

As of this post, it's been seven hours since you hit 102 posts so your session will have definitely expired so the avatar option should be there when you return.

I don't understand everything I know about how this version of vBulletin "auto-promotes" based on post counts, but it apparently does NOT update the available options during the session you earned the promotion in; it updates them when it does a status check the next time you log-in to the forums.

I'm at 101, have logged out and in a few times, and cleared cookies before logging in the last time, and still no choice. Oh well. Maybe take a look the next time I'm by.

Edit: Nevermind. It takes about an hour to activate.

Go to your CP (Control panel) and click on the edit Avatar button. Follow the instructions. This explains it better...
