Avatar still in moderation

I uploaded a new picture as my avatar and pressed save. It said it's in moderation but it's been about 2 weeks now and it still hasn't changed.

Paying attention to people complaining about their avatars being stuck in approval and then posting that it has finally updated does make it seem like it’s about monthly. No better data than that, just anecdata, but I also think it’s occuring monthly.

Used to be instant, actually. Some time after the forum upgrade it changed for apparently everyone but you.

some people have been complaining about this for some time... they may have been waiting almost a month, a week, or a few days.... and then a whole slew of new avs appear all at once. I'm not swearing it is the case that they're only done once a month, but watching others posting and observing the new crops of avs would suggest this is the case.

unless the site owners put out a definitive statement, i can only make guesses based on what's been happening.

In my case i know what is happening and have stated what is happening and it is a software problem.

so, going by the date you posted this, it would seem you uploaded your new av somewhere around the 11th-13th July?

so if it's being done once a month, you should see yours change soon with any luck and accounting for backlog

Mine went to moderation on July 6th. Nada

I was gonna ask this question too, mine has been in moderation for a while too. But if it just takes a while that's fine, I just felt like I did something wrong haha.

I hate my Profil picture and don’t know why have chosen it when I uploaded it…
I decided to get active on lit again
And now I am stuck with this one I have

as far as i am aware, i could be wrong, but the mods have nothing to do with avatar changes

so many people complaining (i understand) and hitting resubmit over and over and over must be causing a hell of a backlog

I only resubmitted one time, decreasing the size of the pic, but I still wait and wait...
