Account Not Active

I tried to register with a new account to test emails sent to my first account. Even though I submitted and verified the new email I received the message "Your account is not active. It is awaiting moderation (please check back soon, sorry for the delay!)"

It has been 2 days. How can I activate or find out the reason for the delay?

There's no guaranteed speed for activation that we know of. If I remember, it was three days for this account.

Okay. I'll wait another day. My first account activated within a few hours.
If it doesn't activate, what can I do to follow-up? I hope to engage one of the Volunteer Editors, but if they can't reach me then I'm out of luck.

Any chance you can send a "test" email to me?

I think it originally took me 2 weeks to get activated
