Hi Everyone!

I'm new here, so I'm sure I'm just being really stupid right now. But, when I go into the avatar section in the CP - I don't see where it lets me add my own avatar, or heck even to choose any other avatar for that matter.

Maybe literotica has avatars disabled? Anyhow, any help I would appreciate.

Thanks,
Cole

Until you've made more than 100 posts that option is disabled.

Welcome, check the FAQs, and if you go near the General Board have your sense of humor totally on.

I have over 100, but I tried to do that, and I think you have to upload them from somwhere, unless I am missing something.

Thank you for clearing that up LukkyKnight!

Literotica doesn't provide any "stock" avatars, so you have to provide a "Custom Avatar" -- Either by uploading from your computer or by linking an approriately sized image from elseqhere on the internet.

Lit also does NOT automatically resize custom avatars so you need to resize them before uploading -- to 150 pixels or less in the largest dimension and less than 14KB filesize.

If you don't have or don't know how to use an image editor to resize pitures for an avatar, go to www.irfanview.com and download the latest version irfanview -- for PC only, infortunately :( If you're one those few who can't figure how to do it in IrfanView, there are enough Irfanview users here at Lit to walk you thorugh it step by step (if you can't find on of the dozens of previous step-by-step instruction threads.
