Avatar help?

Ok, I know this isn't the HT forum but I feel more comfortable asking you guys. When I resize pictures using faststone image viewer they seem to lose sharpness, like my current av. What can I do about this?

I use flickr...it lets you upload image files that are large and detailed then when you view it you have the option of downloading a 150px by 150px version which is still sharp.

Little program called Paint Shop Pro. But, I think you could use MS Paint and it'd do just as well.

I think I managed to somehow completely forget that MS Paint exists.

*laughs* That's kind of awesome.

But yeah, give Paint a try and see how that works. Should be able to crop and resize both with it, I think.
