Author Trademarks

With me its always something about the neck. It's my fantasy and fetish that I just can't explain. It's a vampire thing. :catroar:

Eyes. I can't resist looking into someones eyes. That and lips. That's how I communicate in real life that that's what matters most to me when it comes to knowing my lover. What do their eyes say? What do their lips say? Do they say the same thing? The lips may say no, but I can see a definate yes and longing in the eyes sorta thing.

So far both of my stories have taken place at home in bed. I'm starting to get away from that though in other works. I'm not a very public guy I guess.

I don't use a lot of physical descriptions because I'm more of an epherial kinda guy. I feel what someone looks like. I get my image based on their personality and thoughts.

If I think of any others I'll post 'em.

Oh, until recently my main characters were all females. I tend to have a more female oriented mind, so it seems more natural to me than being a male.

Inspired by the "Trivia" section of any film listed on the IMDb (The International Movie Database), where there's the occasional listing of a director's trademark. For example: Tim Burton's movies usually have an eye-popping scene ( ), Spielberg always uses John Williams' scores, etc.

As a Lit author, what are your trademarks?

Perhaps I am a snob, and I am most certainly with a film background, so .. :D authorial signatures, more apropriately AUTEURS (filmic term via Cahiers du cinema) never have anything to do with acts, but of things more abstract like theme, mise-en-scene and semiotics (metaphor and symbol as you like) recurring. Sex is an act, never a signature or trademark, same with music. A signature is your "own": personal narrative voice.

Almost all of my female main characters are curvy redheads with great big asses.

All my stories contain rimming and anal.

In my stories, everyone gets something in their ass.

I like to write about big dicks.

That - Miss Scarlett - does not make you an auteur. ;)

I appear in all my stories.

If you watch the pet store scenes, you can see me walk by with a terrier on a leash.

Also, the message "Paul is dead" appears backwards somewhere in all my stories.

What about "Get the Gun. Get the Gun. Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot"?

obscure Ozzy reference

1st Person narrative
Emotionally distant male protagonists
Female characters with stronger bonds to each other than the lead male
And let's just say I don't skimp on the sex, but never forget I'm telling a story

Sincerely,
ElSol

My heroïnes are usually tough and sassy and don't take crap from anyone. No matter what happens to them, they get back up. There are ofcourse exceptions to this rule.

Most of my stories are about adults who are having fun. They have sex because they are horny, not because they want to please their lovers or gain something. Again, there are exceptions to this rule.

Most of my heros are well-equipped. Sometimes, I leave out that detail, but I prefer my men to have very big dicks. It echoes my preferences in real life.

Almost none of my heros have blond/red/brown hair and blue eyes. I prefer the Dark Stranger type, or, even better, The Nubian Prince. Again, this comes from my real life. I seldom find blond guys attractive, red-haired ones even less so. Latins, Arabs, and black guys are my type of guys!

My heroïnes are never model-types. They're normal women with normal bodies; I think the only one who was bigger than a B-cup was the fat girl in one of my Fetish-stories. I like writing about chubby girls with big butts and small breasts, because I like it when women who look like myself get some action with hunks.;)

Yeah, that's what my feedback's been saying, too. :D

I don't really focus on the woman's body; I mostly leave the physical descriptions up to the reader's imagination.

If I run into a story that starts with "Debbie was a petite, slender woman with perky 34DD breasts...", I hit the Back-button!!!

"... with a bad habit of wearing her bra inside-out and outside of her clothing so that the label showed to all the world ..."

LOL

Good one.

(In one story so far ...) A consistent code in symbols. Brevity. :)

I also don't like stories where the guy's cock measurements are blasted every other paragraph. "His 12-inch monster cock speared her pussy without mercy." We get the point.
