I have those Half a pill put me to sleep nicely but I feel like I need something for the anxiety cos I woke a couple of times with pounding heart etc.

On to other news Gil's operation has been put off til tomorrow because of a shortage of beds in ICU/HDU. As the song goes "The waiting is the hardest part..."

Not good that it's been put off - but good in another way..... If they were THAT concerned that it was unbelievably serious, they'd never have put it off, even for a day.
My ex SIL works in a busy hospital ICU, and she tells me there is always a bed if needed urgently (even if it means a transfer to another hospital).

As for the waiting.... yeah, know how that feels. I'm still waiting to get use of my right arm back. The ortho doc tells me I'm not serious because I have another arm
And my kidley has been waiting to see an ENT for his tonsils for 2 years. That one may speed up though, as the infection has now migrated to his lymph glands in his neck.
And this is going private!
The Tassie medical system needs some serious help.

Bad news he was also told he will have to dialyse at the hospital for the next 2 weeks - he isn't on any blood thinners or heparin on the machine in case of bleeding and there is a special technique used to flood the lines with saline every so often to prevent clotting, and this can't be done at home.

He can start his blood thinners again next week and hopefully if there are no problems back to heparin on machine and he can go back to being comfortable at home.

Great to see! The inconvenience of the hospital dialysis is worth it if it keeps Gil healthy. Just a lot of stuffing around.

There were no beds avaible in the entire hospital well there are beds but in locked wards.

I had a crumpet mnday mornng the nothing at all till tuesday & all I could eat was peas & corn before I was full, very hard on working ou my insulin & diabetic residents couldn't workout dose. so ran with what I know.

All states are in the same boat & St George hospitsa has gone way down hill in food care of patients, always late with meds plus food has got enen worse then they were just 4 years ago.

The only one that sounded remotely good was the AMG that caught fire on Saturday.
But - I will do the right thing and go see them live here in Tassie before I switch off completely.
Who knows..... live might change my mind.

We had a Fairmont GXL 5.8L, Tbar Auto. Broke my heart when she was sold. Wouldn't pass rego. Tbar was RS. Looked for body to transfer engine to. engine was perfect. Ended up selling it to an enthusuast who was willing to wait for the right opportunity to come along. we needed wheels. I still miss her, and her purr.

I think I'm a pretty good judge of character. I've been hurt at times, but I refuse to stop trusting people. In the long run I'm happier this way.

The downside is that when I misjudge someone badly, they have the power to seriously hurt me. Experience has shown that I can survive that and in the end, if they're an arsehole and treat me badly, it's a reflection on them not on me.
