Finished my tax today, with just 2 days left.
Been waiting for paperwork from various places, and it finally arrived today. I got straight online and finished the damn thing.

Hey Gil - hope things are going better than I read on some of the posts. Heard the Shades of Grey thing going off. One radio station here in Melbourne got Florence Henderson to read a passage, apparently that upset some folks in the US, that Mrs Brady was reading such a book.

Weather here has been ok, although the usual spread of temps at this time of year. The cool to warm then cool cycle has started.

BANDIT's was a bit of a flop as I was sick but I did make up for it a couple of days later.

As for Mrs Brady reading 50 shades I think it only fitting as I got some thoughts of her bound & spanked as a young guy watching that show.

well it's been a while since iv dropped in,not much going on just working & enjoy the warm sunny weather here in brizzy town,had rain last night which washed out the racing last night,but i ain't fussed as we need some rain here,had some scan's,blood & x-ray's done during the week before i seen the doc's at the oncology ward in a few weeks to check that the big C ain't/hasn't come back,besides that i just keep to myself now a days,hope all is well with everyone & hi to the newbies.

We hope the bloods, scans & X rays all turn out fine with no sign of the big C, please let us know when you find out the results.

Bad news is my cousin is riddled with Cancer & doctors have her on a morphine drip, she has lost more than 15KG & is now skin & bone.

She had what was called a good day today with eating 3 small bites of fish.

They are waiting for a bed in the hospital most don't walk out of & it is only a matter of time for her.

This has hit me extreemly hard as she is more like a sister than a cousin to me as we spent a lot of time together as kids my sister, cousin & I spent every holidays with my grandparents as both our families worked.

I don't have an iPhone either, actually I remember a news report of a little girl, she must have been 5 or 6yrs old with her dad walking behind her and she was telling everyone how much she loved her new iPhone. How silly is that! Actually I would feel rather ripped off if I did own one considering how many people bought the 4S then they piss their customers off by not having backwards compatible interfaces.

So you too with Mrs Brady, I reckon a few of us boys at the time had some fantasies about her.

Been an expensive long weekend for me. Bought 4 new tyres for the car, payed some major bills, then yesterday spent more dollars on new shirts for summer and hub caps. I managed to damage one and crack another. Dodging the rain as well. It has been rather humid down here for the past few days, which means storms. Will see if the race gets rained on, quite dark at the moment. Besides all the shopping trips, managed to see a few games of NFL was well.

Just relaxing today, well sort of, I can't sit still for too long. Not sure how I find time to go to work with all the things to do at home.

Well the kiddo and I are off tomorrow morning to see his brother and sisters. His first time flying and I hope he likes it!! Flying into Sydney then connecting flight to Canberra and the driving the rest of the way. It's going to be awesome seeing them

Evening all,

Rather strange weather in Melbourne town at the moment, rather humid still but then cool winds rain then sun and more humidity. Anyway today was Oaks Day or as the locals call it...pick up day...if you like being in a group of drunk women all dressed up, then today was the time to be at Flemington for the races dedicated to the ladies. Well that's what they say, really its so the ladies can show off their outfits they spent months putting together.

Seems I got pinged by one of those credit card frauds, so had to cancel the credit card. Never had an issue before. The Bank suggested cancellation was the best option. I discovered lots of pages on a website dedicated to this one. Even people who don't use their credit cards on the internet got pinged for this one. Some of the comments were a bit humourous even though the issue is serious.

The internet can be used for good. Anyway the best option was to pay the credit card off then get them to chase the money. Not a big amount, more the annoyance factor really. Have to wait till next week for a new one. Thankfully just went to the bank today so I'm cashed up for a while. On the positive side I'm getting one with more benefits, so I guess there is an upside.

Not a good day at work for some stuff so this just capped off a rather forgettable day. Hoping for less humidity in the next couple of days.

Nope didn't bet this year, but if I did I wouldn't of chosen the winner, high odds, but paid well. That other horse race in the States turned into a one horse race Romney wasn't even close.

I've got more chance hooking up with a super model that people have at winning the lotto. Most I won on the lotto was $700 a long time ago. I know about probabilities so knowing the math, you woundn't do it.

Just keep being there for your cousin, smile, be jovial. Do the crying stuff later. Not everyone can do that, just being there for her will help. The small stuff means a lot.
