Evening, all.

Just trying to decide if I should crack a bottle of wine to lubricate my evening.

Got any more hot men for me to perve on, Rainshine?

A good wine is a great way to finish the night :)
I have to keep reminding myself that you are 3 hours behind us now!

It's been pretty good... for a British bike, Lucas...Prince Of Darkness has not bothered me... and it (so far) hasn't left any big puddles of oil behind!!!

It's along time since i've ridden a non-faired bike... my neck can't stand the strain of direct windblast... so, it's either a faired bike or I have to give ridding away. :(

The Z didn't leave puddles it only left it's mark.

Actually I wouldn't mind a ride with one of those new fangled bikes, I have some damaged vertebrae in my neck from playing rugby when young that give me shit now although I did race a mates Fender Bender earlier this year at the speedway & had some fun doing it.

Hi Everyone!

Happy Belated Birthday Bandit!

I hope you are a bit feeling better now, Gil

Never been sloshed so I don't miss it ;)

Blood tests done.
There's a rush, so I'll get the results later this arvo.
As for my thumb - apparently it's my blood thinning medication that has caused it to become a massive haematoma. Have to drain it every day until the dead skin falls off. NEVER AGAIN!

Looks like a nice ride.

Although I'm still very old school & really miss my 1977 Z1000 with the only plastic being the side covers & tail, no fairings.

Had a Z1000J many years ago........ *sigh*

had so much trouble holdin the effing thing up. Got real good at lowering that kickstand when I slowed and kickin her up after we took off.

I need a drink

Just got my results back.
Seems I have a very low platelet count, and what I do have is 'sticky'.
My thinning meds have been increased, and in a few days I need to go for a platelet infusion.
In the meantime the advice from my doc is 'Try not to cut yourself!'

BANDIT:heart: took my bloods this morning & ran them to the hospital then we get the results tomorrow afternoon. I'm feeling OK except for the pills they have me taking making me feel ill.

Ain't blood thinners fun, I've only got to bump myself & massive bruises appear & if the skin breaks it's a blood fest.

A mate & his sister used to shre his Suziki water bucket but before he let her ride it the first time he laid it down then told her if you can't pick it up you don't ride it, she did & loved riding it.

Got a phone call from my mum who let me know my cousin who is riddled with cancer has lost 15KG in a couple of weeks, here head is swollen & can only see out of one eye.

They have her on morphine & don't know how much longer she will last.:(

Some good news on the home front when I went to the hospital today to get my infected fistula checked & although it hasn't cleared it is a lot better so more drugs for a while to knock it out.

aaaaaaaaannnnd....

Gigantic squishy booby hugs go to bandit :rose:

Everybody sing.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR BANDIT... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Sorry I stopped reading after I read 'Gigantic squishy booby ' what was that about a birthday, did I miss something?

We've had this topsy-turvy weather, as well. 25 one day, raining the next 2
and cooooooold, fine in late teens for a day, then bloody SNOW!!!! Was very pretty. My street looked awesome at 5am, but not quite real. All the early risers turning up to work with snow still piled high on their cars. Talk of the town, it was! :D

My gf in my teens had beautiful dark skin. I remember sitting on the hill at the Gabba with her saying 'I'm soooo pale', as she slathered on coconut oil. And I'm looking at her and then at my anglo-celt whiter than white, dripping spf5000, going wtf???? She thought I was blind.

Mmmm. Exploring all options is the sign of an inquiring mind. ;)

Snuggling down to escape the weather probably helped you sleep, as well. You obviously needed it. :rose:

Mr Elf, you DO live in a city!!! One of the wonders of such a metropolis is the constant bussle in CBDs at all hours. My little town is mostly packed away by 7 except for a few eateries and pubs. These daylight savings evenings are great for a quiet evening stroll. School holidays are just ended so we have our little town back through the week. Weekends are torturous though, and will be until March. Chrissy holidays are hell. I'll be tearing my hair out by midDecember!

Yep I do live in a big city, its just nice to escape the crowds once in a while. I stay away from shopping centres during school holidays.

I was thinking of taking the rest of the year off, but they wouldn't allow that, so I have to wait another six weeks. Its going to be a long six weeks.

Yeah Adelaide is like your town, they turn the lights out at 8pm then kick you out of the restaurants. This actually happened. I've been to country towns where they close the bistro at 7pm but never a city that actually gets rid of paying customers once they've had their meals. Strange joint that one.

Melbourne has become as close to a 24hr city as you can get. Coffee shops open before 6:30am and resturants and some bars open till the some come up. Shopping 7 days a week. It is rather convenient for sure. I've been to New York and that joint just doesn't shut down. Larger population in that place of course.

Evening all,

Welcome to Minx

Big birthday kiss: for Bandit, hope it was enjoyable with lots of cake. And like WQ said I'd like to watch you guys squish boobies :D

Hey Gil - hope things are going better than I read on some of the posts. Heard the Shades of Grey thing going off. One radio station here in Melbourne got Florence Henderson to read a passage, apparently that upset some folks in the US, that Mrs Brady was reading such a book.

WQ - you shouldn't feel embarrassed your guy tells you he misses you, that's sweet. A recent survey reported that guys think about sex every 7 seconds...how long was that phone call?

Arianthe - it makes me sad that a nipple is all alone in WA...its just not right. Its the duty of everyone to ensure nipples are not lonely...

Weather here has been ok, although the usual spread of temps at this time of year. The cool to warm then cool cycle has started.

Saw something today that I didn't think I would see...a monk with an iPhone...what was that about giving up all worldly possessions..I guess spreading the word is easier with access to technology.

Good evening, everyone.

Please don't worry about my nipple, Mr Elf. There's another one right next door to keep it company.

I've actually had a Western Australian Litster contact me since my last post, so I'm not feeling quite so alone in this timezones. :D

I'm glad to hear everyone is well.

IFITS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice to see you drop in.

Yes, still kicking...just, though much healthier than you by the sound of it. Blood tests thinners and [insert deity here] knows what else.

You're still going though, so it can't be all bad.

All good down this way. Was just pottering through a few old things on my PC and was reminded of Lit.

Hope all are well

I was well.
Unfortunately, I have caught a cold off my no1son, who is on immunosuppressents and catches everything going.
I shouldn't complain - I have escaped the last 4 colds he had!

well it's been a while since iv dropped in,not much going on just working & enjoy the warm sunny weather here in brizzy town, had rain last night which washed out the racing last night, but i ain't fussed as we need some rain here, had some scan's,blood & x-ray's done during the week before i seen the doc's at the oncology ward in a few weeks to check that the big C ain't/hasn't come back, besides that i just keep to myself now a days, hope all is well with everyone & hi to the newbies.
