You know that in this time, with the advances of the internet, sites to check out scams and fakes, people's stupidity never ceases to amase me. For goodness sake, it's pure greed, unthinkingness(okay, I make my own words up for impact...spank me...please!!), and dogged idiocracy to not ensure that letters/emails/texts etc have a base in reality. I have no sympathy for what amounts to idiots trying to scoop money for nothing from other greedy idiots.

Sighs..end rant. It's hot, going to be 33C today. I am not in the best of moods, one could say. A little twitchy, itchy (yes, knows I can get ointment for that) and feeling like I want to just tell everyone what I think of them...perhaps time to just go lay on my bed and not get up till it's all over. sighssssss

I hope the mood passes & don't think you sound like us in Sydney traffic as we just got home & both of us had some yelling at idiots on the road.
Not long ago a 30+ male just walked out onto the road in front of me TEXTING !!!!!!!!!! I'm amazed that some of these idiots have enough brain cells to remember to breathe, there are little more than oxygen thieves.

Yeah it seems like we missed every part of summer except for the muggy heat, so sticky.
It seemed every time I tried to get to the beach on my days off it rained.

Hope 2012 is being kind to you. I'm still searching for my summer. It's been stolen!!! Apparently the coast - over the mountains from here - is wonderful. We've been cold and overcast for months, with a handful of lovely days scattered in there to remind us what it should be like!! On the upside, we're no longer in drought! lol

I hope whatever life has thrown at you is all good.

Thanks for the good thoughts but unfortunately...not the case looks like I'll have to shut the doors and go find a job.... the economy went for a shit and quite frankly I feel as though I have been slaving away in its toilet bowl....only good thing..... I never looked up.

*PERKS*...always, Mr Gil. Think it's true what my Mother used to say to me........that once I had a good spanking and cry, I was good as rain. Though haven't cried in a spanking since my Mother dished them out. or a flogging or a whipping or a............sighs....

Traffic will do that to you, Mr Gil. My girlfriend is selling her car. She had a case of road rage against her that saw a guy who simply was impatient, throw rocks at her car and in through the driver's window, narrowly missing her. So she reported him to the Police and has vowed to sell her car as it's no longer a joy to drive anywhere in the city.

Texters and Music listeners the worse....have lectured to my girl's brain not to do either whilst coming to a road. Not sure she listends, but as I told my Mother, I can't follow her 24/7.

Well, thinking of going for lunch, might pop off and dig out a luncheon partner. Smiles.

Pain is an ever present mongrel in Gil's life, the only thing we've found to relieve it is some herbal smoke and emu oil. We tried Panadol Osteo for about a year but that seems to be upsetting his tummy now Most over the counter and prescription pain meds do that

I've heard Ethical Nutrients make a herbal pain relief tablet with turmeric and something else in it (can't remember what offhand) but it's supposedly "gut friendly" and has anti inflammatory properties. I went to a chemist today but they don't stock it, so will have a bit of a look around for it tomorrow. At this point we will give anything a try!

Playing up for us usually involves a couple of hours travel, nice hotel and trading babysitting favours... really disappointing when it falls through. Though sometimes I do think it's the universe trying to tell me to behave myself.

Eye's baccckkkk! Did anyone miss me????

I managed to spend a week in NZ and not get run off the road by the logging trucks nor did I get swallowed up in an earthquake.
I found some nice NZ wine at Mission winery, some yummy chocolate at Silky Oak, got beautifully steamed at a not so smelly thermal place....and had the best Indian food I've eaten in quite some time.

Did I mention that it rained almost all the time as well???
