Ok everyone - send the good vibes my way!
I have my interview today for the position I've been waiting for.
I need fingers crossed and karmic luck thoughts. Because I'm up against 34 other applicants.
If I make it thro this one, I'll go onto a short list and have another interview in 2 weeks.

Hope you get it. I am in your corner.

:cool:Mont.

GO GIRL!:D

Well, after getting to the point where I was threatening to carve out my lungs with a spoon, I seem to FINALLY be getting somewhere!!! Yay!!!

Slept for over 12 hours yesterday/last night. Fell asleep on lounge sometime after 3pm and woke at 4.30 this morning to my phone alarm. Sure beats waking every hour or so cos i can't breath.

Didn't get the cherubs last weekend cos I was deemed a bit scary for them and couldn't cope probably anyway.:(

On a positive note my fence is fixed. I asked a contractor I know to come and do it for me. But after a cryptic comment about being 'adopted' a group of very nice gentleman came at the same time and mowed my triffids for me!!! And cleaned up a mess of chopped tree limbs. So there ARE some very nice people in this world who come forward when needed! :D:D:D Bless their little cotton socks.

Good to hear :D

Picture this - everything went really well. Dress: smart and sharp. Hair and makeup: perfect, for a change. Prep work re company: immaculate, accurate and able to answer every question.
Handshakes all round and a 'We'll be seeing you again'from the CO and the HR men.
Walk to car on cloud nine, having absolutely nailed the interview.
Get in car.
Reverse out of parking.
Get stuck in reverse.
Try frantically to get gearbox to co-operate.
Fail.
Reverse all the way thro carpark till finding a spot car can be reversed into.
Ring RAC

Good to hear your on the mend Frisky & glad the triffids have been controlled at least for the moment.

12 hours sleep for me never happens & feeling a little envy although you have been doing it tough.

Take care.:rose:

W.Q. I have no idea of what it is like to handle a job interview  no matter how well prepared I was something always went wrong but I managed to drive home, I guess you get used to these things happening with Fords.

I went for a job a fair drive from home one time & my mum wanted to go look around the suburb while I had the interview, came out, found mum then got into the car, pulled it into neutral, started & went to put it into gear & no clutch so had to stop start the car in gear till it was home through surburban Sydney.

Not asleep yet, tonight. Will get there, though.

Hope you and bandit are happy and healthy! :rose:

One of the Holdens I owned was possessed by the devil and tried to kill me!
First, a wheel came off at 100km/hr because the studs failed.
Then I lost the clutch-plate. Just the plate - the rest of the clutch stayed put (something Holden had never seen before!)
About 2 months after that the steering wheel came off. Thank god I was only doing about 25km/hr that time!
And lastly, the right-side engine mounts failed catastrophically and my motor ended up on the left shocktower.
When I got rid of that car, I swore I was never getting another Holden!

At least with my Fords, I can pretty much fix most everything myself - and I've never had one that's channelling Steven King!

Designers have invented a new bra for middle-aged women. They've called it "the Sheepdog", as it rounds em up and points them in the right direction!
