Well, dinner tonight was chilli and lime glazed gold-band snapper, with coconut and cilantro rice and a tomato salsa.
I am full!
God, I  fish!

Oh - and I made cinnamon and maple syrup rolls for dessert (but I don't eat wheat or sweets, so I'll have a tangello).

Hi Sexi!

Welcome to the thread! :)

Great first story, btw.

Morning trisk :)

I've been wasting time watching bees collect pollen on my camellia - interesting stuff!
All my housework is done and it's heading up to 23 degrees in my part of Tassie, so I'm having a lazy day

Hi WQ!

Been out in the garden, myself. :)

Ivy pruned, weeds zeroed (smaller ones pulled out). Next is mowing the triffids.
Met my new neighbour and she seems nice, thank god. Miss my old nieghbour.

Understand the bee-watching. lol Old man has bees. used to watch the hives as a kid. They dance a lot, as well as just come and go. Kinda like watching a tank of fish. Calm.

My housework is behind, as usual, but at 21 deg, I have nothing to complain about and would rather be outside. Keep coming in to drink and look at poota.:D:DDrinking heaps cos of bloody diet. Trying to avoid going from curves to barrel!!!

diet is an evil word!
Had homemade hamburgers for lunch - I make my burgers with minced beef and bacon (love the bacon flavour in there!)
I am one of those wierdo people that carries a filter drink-bottle everywhere.
I should be out in the garden, but can't be bothered as I did most of it yesterday

lol. Evil word AND evil deed!!

Bragging about your lovely hamburgers is NOT easing pain of diet!! :D Yum, bacon adds a certain something to rissoles, too.

If carrying filter drink bottle everywhere is wierd, then more people should be weird. It's a very healthy habit. I can't carry water out back coz the dog snitches any thing I put down. My gardening tools are all chewed!

Been cooking chicken soup in between gardening. Smells very good. (I'm fixated on food now. can you tell??)

AND the most interesting man with the most LUSCIOUS voice delivered my wifi set up today. OH MY!!!!!!

oooohhh... I do love it when hot guys come to deliver stuff :D
And I used to have a mechanic that was hot as hell - having my car break down was a pleasure!

Dog chewing everything cure - wipe everything you don't want chewed with a generous helping of vicks chest rub. Then leave it out. Dogs learn quickly! They HATE the taste and smell, but it doesn't hurt them.

I'm on these new appetite suppressants from the health food shop. Made by Fusion Health called simply Weight Loss. A bit exe, but they really are suppressing my appetite! I know - I was shocked too, because normally I see these things as a gimmick, but these seem to actually work.
Plus, I don't eat any white foods, sugar or salt.
Here's a confession on the open page - I used to be 93kg
Now, after cutting out all white food, I am a much happier 55kg.

Mmmm hmmm. Temptation is to spend hard-earneds on something/anything from same company to see if he came back. hehe

My mechanic is a lovely fellow but he has a knack of making me feel like I'm 5 with one sentence.

Tried chilli with dog. Will try vicks now.

Will see this torture out to the end but will also look at those supps. I hardly eat in the heat. It's the winter cold that drives my appetite. If I moved back to brissy, I'd be skinny as a rake again. White foods, huh? Will look at what I've been eating. Never thought of colour. You should be proud of yourself. :)

white foods = sugar, milk, cream, flour (in all it's forms), pasta, white rice, cauli and potatoes (because nobody ever eats them without something on!) and salt (salt is a big no, I use a lot of herbs and spices instead)
exceptions are - fish, yoghurt.
That's just a quick list, there are more items. Basically, you're cutting out all foods that act the same as simple sugars on your insulin/cortisol levels.

Btw trisk - all your gardening talk got me motivated, and I've been out over-using my arm!
I should be cross, but I feel good because I've cut down a horrid tree that I really needed to get rid of, and opened up a whole new secret section of the garden :)
My boys are not happy tho, coz I've had them carting away the debris!
