Come live in Canberra then! Or is Canberra too big?

I do understand what you mean about high school etc etc. I think I thought they might be at boarding school or something, for that very reason. And I only like my cities to be 'so' big. I've lived in small country towns, medium sized cities and Canberra, which is like an oversize country town, but I've never done a 'big' city.

You currently work where you live?

Yeah. Work here but Casual. No holidays. Hours a bit random.

Didn't we have a discussion earlier about 'B'inging on the way to the coast?

Lived in Canberra for a while. Loved the work but moved out here & then stayed home when cherubs born. TCommuting took too much time away from them. This town is a great place for kids. A great outdoor life. Now they're all into PS3, Warcraft..... indoors things. Until they get here. Then it's up & at'em!! hehe

I'm invisible in the "who's online" list, and I also have in my sig line that I'm collared and happily married. The asshats seem to pass me by, for which I am grateful

However the ignore button can be a very good friend.....

You're right, we did. I do like your town. I think I've said that. But not sure I could live there, as hubby's work is here and there is no way he'd commute. I agree about the indoor things. Just sent my youngest to play outside. But getting the oldest away from his computer is a touch more difficult.

Hi everyone

Quick post on the subject of random pm's - it doesn't take much to have a quick look, and if it's an unsolicited message then all you have to do is delete and ignore. Almost all the time, that puts a complete stop to the person contacting you.
I get a lot - might have something to do with my ass being up there! - but I have learnt to skim and delete.
I only use the ignore function for extreme cases... usually people who'se opinions I can't stand from the general board.
