I saw a doctor today, and she said I had a “Cardiac episode” (sorry if I misspelled that) which I think is kind like a small heart attack I’m not certain. She told me not to stress, don’t get anxiousness, don’t tire myself, etc. I find it odd, that stops me doing anything.
Welcome to Saturday ..........
First of all thankyou everyone for the Anniversary wishes, my life has never been better since BANDITcame into my life & she accepted me as I am with all my health problems, I've never been happier. BANDIT
is a blessing in my life.
ORLANTH ....... sadly we with health issues have to make do with what life deals us as best we can so be kind to your heart.
WQ ..... as a parent I can only imagine the concern you must have had for your princess. I hope you can find time to visit her a bit more even though your now a radio jock or is it jockette.![]()
What's scary is being hooked to a monitor and seeing you heart easily go above 300 beats per minute.my princess had one (cardiac episode) last friday
she collapsed on the sport field during the inter-school carnival, after running the 400m... and ended up being taken to hospital in an ambulance.
BIG fright for me!
seems she was trying too hard, and basically overheated (had a cold at the time) and her body shut down when her heart rate went over 200 beats per minute.
she's fine now - but i told her if she's going to go all out, she'd better do it when she's well, not when she's sick!
btw - she won her race![]()
hiya gil
missed the anniversary - sorry, didn't read back!
i know it was a happy day for both of you tho, you didn't need me to say it
the princess is home again now - she only stayed overnight.
yes, it was a HUGE scare for me! i find myself checking her ever night, 3 or 4 times.
she's pushed herself very hard this year - in sporting as well as academic stuff.
and for the most part it's paid off... she's working at a yr 10 level for numeracy and literacy, and she's only in yr 8!
i have an awards night next tuesday, as apparently she's won a major school award for her work this last year.
proud mummy, me
i'll be finishing up at the radio for a 4 week break soon - my boys are coming for almost 4 weeks straight!
i'll have all 3 together with me for the first time in a few yrs
and i have them for xmas and for new year!
i'm actually getting into the spirit of chrissy again for this year - maybe a good thing...

Hope your girl's ok?
I've only got to mention having a bit of pain in the side of my chest & they have me hooked up to a monitor.
Evening aussies.![]()
