hiya ozzies - and on that last post, mjh, let me just say OUCH

I saw a dude on our high school footy team suffer a similar injury. He got tackled and someone stomped on his nuts, but he didn't feel it. Stood up, someone pointed out that his white shorts had gone red. So he dropped his dacks and one of his testicles was actually hanging out of his nutsack.

He passed out and they took him off to hospital. Thirteen stiches later his testicle was secured back in it's proper position. Bet he's got a wicked scar though.

so lovely of you to grace us with your presence ms mgp - how was the doof-fest last weekend?

Really good, except it did rain a fair bit so there was a lot of mud. I put a few pics up on flickr and some on my facebook.

had a heap of Kiwi jokes run thru my head with the gumboot theme....but I'll leave it alone :D

Morning all...TGIF hope every one has a good day

Thanks! I was trying to find one of my stretch marks, but don't have any good pics.

I can't tell you how pleased I am the weekend is here! So tired...so very tired.
Good (?) news though - the bank phoned me today. Apparently they've already approved my loan unconditionally. Two days!? Geez, I must have been the only person in WA to apply for a new home loan! So, the paper work is in the mail. Scary!

*lol*
The sad part is...my reasoning was "what does it matter if I end up with nothing, I have nothing now". Oh for being single...no one depends on me, I have no one to depend on. Thank goodness I have my cat, else I'll be a total wreck at the moment.

Anyway, it's a long-term plan...so if I can make it through the next 5 years without losing my job, all will be well!

Do you have any exciting weekend plans, Chu?

Evenin everybodies

Yep sure is good looking forward to a restful weekend . Maybe get a round of golf in and ummmmmm dunno.

Good news about your investment Pert hope all works well for you , I know my home loan mortgage is looking better and better each month now.

The superannuation scene isnt look good but I am sure its all peaks and troughs , well we gotta hope so anyway.

Btw the new av looks great Pert , oldy was great too.

Ok everyone have funs .

G'evening Larrican. I'm sure I'll be alright - I'm more worried about my parents (who are retired and have large medical expenses) and friends who are (a) having kids and (b) on pensions. During the recession/depression times, cash is king. It's a killer to sell any property/shares while prices are so low. They're going to bounce back eventually....but eventually might be 5 years.
It's all fun and games.

Speaking of games, I'm a beta-tester for one of the games I play...there is a test tomorrow morning. I'm not sure if it's worth setting my alarm though - last test the server crashed in 2 minutes and there was no test!

Yes its a worry alright my parents are in the same boat. But they seem to be handling it alright , your so right about cash , but seems like its the best no matter what times we are in, the difference in appliance stores between cash price and others is amazing.

I like playing games online too at the moment I am a big texas hold em fanatic I love the game.

What I do in shall I or shant I momentss decide I shall and then when the time comes you have the option ............ Just punch the alarm and nod back off lol.

Being single has its pros and cons thats for sure .:p

Me again...................

Just read a great quote "If you dont know where your going , any road will take you there " Mark Twain.

Aint it the truth lol.

'tis true indeed!

Have fun tomorrow Chunu. We'll be waiting for your photos!
Do be careful of the sun - seriously! I don't know anyone (Australian) over 50 who hasn't had a skin cancer cut off. One of the guys at work is only 38 and he's had 16 melanomas cut out. He's lucky that his girlfriend is very good at checking them.

....and you should also keep in mind that many breast cancers are first noticed by the womans partner. Foreplay isn't only fun, it's good for your health :D

well, you are single dear - you do need a friend to come and visit and make sure you are okay :D or, free accommodation on this side of the continent perhaps?

My Mum is 56 and has never had one. She's been lucky though, cause my Dad has had about two dozen of them removed.

I'm super cautious with it.. I've got really pale skin so I try my best to avoid getting burnt :(

ello mgp - much planned for this weekend?
