That little cold sore I posted about a couple of days ago? Turned into the worst outbreak I've ever had Around and in my nose and one on top and one on bottom lip....I went to the doctor yesterday and got some antibiotic cream to use with the Zovirax and things seem to be settling down now, but blowjobs are off the menu for a few days I think

Well, Ladies & Gentlemen... I'm back!

I now have a plate & several screws holding the top of my armbone together, a line of stitches about 8 inches long (point of shoulder to maybe an inch above the elbow), 3 different types of painkiller, and physio appointments from next week! All I need is a bird in a fruit tree & I'm set!

I'm assuming all is well in the Aussie camp (don't have the energy to check 25 pages of posts), so I'll catch you all later!

How long the plate and screws need to be in for did they say?
I really hope it doesn't get to cold of a night/early morning for you as I'm told they are a real bitch when it is like that. Hope you don't have to find out for yourself though.

And no, I wasn't wearing Gil's jacket - it was a little too warm for that...

He's more pissed about not being able to kiss me properly! Though yes he is hoping I get better quick for other reasons

Apart from a bit of bleeding afterward everything went well, though don't get him started about hospitals - the buzzers in his room didn't work, they stuffed up his meds (again), the lady who was admitted that night started going off her head, pulling out the tube in her nose, taking off the oxygen mask and then trying to pull the catheter out (ouch!), he had to go get the staff because the damn buzzers weren't working, there wasn't enough staff on to begin with
And that afternoon one of them told me I had to leave because visiting hours were over - that's the first time I've been told to go because mostly they are glad to have me there to look after Gil, plus I helped the guy in the next bed a couple of times too Oh well at least I got to go to the doctor and go home for a rest before going back about 5pm..........

pleased to hear it all went OK for Gil despite ths conditions in the hospital... where lucky here as our hospital is only a few years old and has the latest and greatest of everything and being all new and shiny the staff are very happy with the working conditions so the place stays pretty much fully staffed.
