awwww that is so nice of you to say.....

...so did I miss anything while I was slaving away at work
I have no idea. I missed a good 6 or so pages and I haven't bothered to go back and look them over, lol.

The most important things seem to be about right now, anyhow.

Hello gorgeous people, please help me celebrate the birth today (tues) of my beautiful grand daughter Claudia Rose.

I can't tell you how proud and full of love I am for this tiny bundle of human being. Less than 24 hrs old and she already owns my heart.

Life is damn good isn't it, and to see life regenerate in our children is kinda fantastic.

I hope your tuesday has been as fantabulous as mine.

Hi LB, and many congrats! I've got five kids(!) myself, and have been moved to tears by the four whose births I've witnessed. There's something incredible about how small but perfectly formed they are when they pop out.

Thank you T...it so nice to find someone who truly understands. To see my baby, with her baby is something i can't even begin to explain.

But, it's been a wonderful day, and thank you for being there..... just to understand.

ps.. pardon any typo's but I've been out to wet the baby's head... as one does.

Nope, make that a triple post, thanks to Lit's servers. My arse is all yours Orlanth.

I guess with grandkids there's an extra element of satisfaction that you've managed to steer your kids through the minefield of life to a point when they can experience the wonders of childbirth themselves.

Wise words my friend, and that's what it's all about.

Watching your children grow and develop is kinda wonderful, but when you see them with their children.... that's when you know you've done a good job.

I've done that four times now ( 4 grandchildren ) and it's a very rewarding experience. I can tell you there's nothing quite as special as holding your daughters daughter in your arms.. as i did tonight. If you weren't religious, then you'd look for a higher being.

Sorry, I'm rambling.. picacho made me drink way too much tonight, but seriously... today was a day I'll never ever forget.

Btw.. have i told you just how much I love my Claudia Rose? Probably not.. cos there's not enough words out there to describe it.

Bedtime for this very proud gran now... hope you sleep well, and that tomorrow's as magical as you need it to be. xxx
